The accommodations were very nice and it was well stocked , however the WiFi didn't work and we had a person on the trip who was working from home , also the screens were broken so the house was filled with mosquitoes every night

Peaceful Location in the Middle of It All

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kai Nui in Poipu Kai neighborhood was lovely. Ocean breezes and stargazing at night and SHipwreck Beach was an enjoyable walk or a quick drive away. This location was a great launching point for things like catamaran tours of the napali coast and for helicopter tours that depart from Lihue. Also so close to all of the great restaurants in Poipu - 5 minute drive away.As for the accommodations, We are a family of 5 with all boys and two college age, the three large bedrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out. But This home would easily accommodate two young families with the parents in the king bedrooms and all the kids piled in the bunk room that also has a king in addition to bunk beds. The garage was packed with everything you could possibly need for the beach. We loaded up the wagon with beach towels, umbrellas, chairs for all of us, boogie boards and snorkle gear everyday.

Birthday trip for sister

Great stay with all of the family, plus grandma and aunt and uncle. We appreciated all of the extras that the owner provided. ie: shampoo, conditioner, etc. We had a great stay!!

This was a beautiful home to spend our extended family vacation in. Perfect layout and the bunkbeds were great for the kids. Loved having access to extras like beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, sand toys, wagon for little kids, etc. The house is in a quiet, nice neighborhood and close to everything. The paved walking path to the pool and beach was great! Highly recommend this home and hope to stay again in the future!

Wonderful family vacation

This house worked great for our family of 10 ranging from 6-72 in age. Much to do in area. Really appreciated availability of beach towels and toys and snorkeling equipment. Home has an open feel with lots of windows for views and air flow. Bedrooms very comfortable.

Wonderful stay with family

Our family had three generations staying in this lovely, spacious house. Great for sunrises and sunsets on the balconies, cooking meals together in the well-equipped kitchen, dinner on the deck, and games inside. Short walks along the green belt to Brennecke’s and Poipu as well as Shipwreck Beach, with a nice assortment of beach gear available to borrow. Management was very helpful and responsive. It was a wonderful stay!

Week in Kauai

The house was a wonderful home base for all of our adventures. We ate several meals and most breakfasts there. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanais. We loved walking on the paths to the coffee shop at the Hyatt, to watch the sunrise, to Poipu beach to swim/snorkel/watch the sunset n turtles, and to the pool. We enjoyed the restaurant right next to the pool. We admired all the beautiful flowers and plumeria trees along our walks. My son was so excited there was a lime tree in the back yard.

The location is great, we walked to the pool and beach everyday. The only thing I would caution is there is no AC in the shared spaces (this was noted in the listing description). It wasn't a problem for us, the weather was nice, and the fan's provided kept the area cool enough, but I don't know how I would have felt if we came in the middle of the summer or if the weather was very hot!

Totally upgraded, clean, contemporary home. Well appointed in every regard. Three equal sized primary bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Great for three couples. Steps from the greenbelt trail. 10 minute walk to the coast.

Great Location

Kai Nui was a great location, walking distance to Shipwreck and Poipu beaches. The house is very spacious for our 2 families of 8 people. Lots of beach gear available with a wagon to bring them to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, but the kitchen table could use a few more chairs to accommodate more than 6 people. All the showers included shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was nice to have. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

family reunited

excellent home for our family, children and grandchildren. our sons wife has a sister who lives only thirty miles away on the island and with covid she has not seen the nephews in two years! With the large well equipped kitchen we could all congregate at our place for suppers and have plenty of room for 14 We loved the porch for relaxing and the new remodeling,Looks like youhave more planned. Also the six of us appreciated the three spacious bathrooms

Family vacay

We had a wonderful time at Kai Nui. There were 8 of us total, 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 teenagers. The pictures and description were accurate. The home was very clean and the island breeze was lovely with all of the windows open. The lanai was a great place to have a morning cup of coffee. The available beach gear was nice to have, although the umbrellas all could be replaced as they were either broken or barely functioning. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would stay here again. Mahalo!

One walking path led you to Shipwreck beach and another one the opposite direction led you to the pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, and Brennecke's Beach. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach towels, ice chest, a wagon, and two bikes were all waiting for us in the garage to use and boy did we use them. Only recommendation would be to have a dining table that can accommodate 10 instead of 8.

From the moment we pulled up, we knew this place would be a perfect home base for our party of 9 which includes one Nana and two families of four with kids ranging from 10 to 17. Great location, walking distance to Shipwreck's Beach and short 5-min drive to Poipu Beach!Bedrooms - there were three main rooms with adjacent full bathrooms for the adults. The third room had the bonus room with double bunk beds which were perfect for the four kids. Two rooms were on the first floor and the third is on the second floor. Each bedroom has a tv, ceiling fans, AC unit and large closets with hangers. The top floor room also had access to a private furnished balcony through French doors.Bathrooms - three full bathrooms adjacent to each room. Excellently appointed, large rain shower, soaking tub and double sinks. Complete with shampoo, conditioner, body & hand soaps. Loved that there was open shelving to unload all our luggage & arrange clothes!Kitchen - this had everything you could possibly need. Gas range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, full fridge, k-cup, coffee makers, electric kettle, toaster, and numerous blender options! There was even a rice cooker and crock pot which we did not get to use. Well stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware, flatware and even some basic seasonings. Outdoor grill was also convenient.Garage also had beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, floaties, water shoes and washer dryer. The outdoor shower was also great for rinsing off!

Nice Place

The house is beautiful. The location is within walking distance to the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for couples who need their own space. The attached lanai with extra sleeping is nice if you don't mind your children sleeping basically a few feet away from you. The upstairs living area/kitchen/dining area can get pretty warm as this area is not air conditioned, but opening the windows and using the screen door allows it to cool down in the evening. If you plan to be in your bedroom or out exploring during the heat of the day this really isn't an issue.
