In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. One western queen, 3 futon beds, 2 baths, kitchen, washer/dryer combo (which I did not like as the drying made everything wrinkled as if drying clothes after a wash spin cycle and took over 3 hours). „Not the easiest place to find, would suggest a sign between the two other buildings, it’s opp the Police station. At the rear of the front buildings. However once you have found it, the accommodation is great. Easy walk to buses or taxi to wherever. Great place would recommend, just remember it’s down an alley!“
