„A fantastic little cottage on a very secluded little farm. The property owners, Jim and Tracy, were very friendly and accommodating. It was wonderful just sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.“

„I arrived later than planned so I got lost in the dark trying to find the place. Super cute and cozy. Close to the lake and restarting/bar. There is no heat, but the owner provided a space heater. I love the cold so I didn’t need it. “

„Had another great long holiday winter weekend at this property with friends and family. Easy access to Elk Mtn for skiing, fun playing on the frozen lake and cozy evenings by the wood stove and TV. Long dirt road to get there but wasn’t hard to navigate and still a close drive to general store (Cables), convenience store/pizzaria (Arlo’s) or restaurants (The Beacon) for weekend needs. Tips - Not too close to any grocers or state (liquor) stores so BYO for those things. Also as noted in the ...

„Perfect spot for a getaway. Cozy with all necessary gadgets, grill, canoes, paddle boat, fire pits, fire place. Overall, I recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet front lake property for the family. The host was very professional and always responded promptly to any questions. “

„The layout of the house is wonderful and offers endless views of the lake from almost every area.The upper deck is a lovely bonus. The peace and tranquilty was much needed. „We had a wonderful vacation at Newton Lake! We are formally from Scranton, and it was so nice to have our siblings come to visit. The grandkids loved the kayaks and paddleboards. They spent hours in the lake every day. The cottage was very nice and there was plenty of space for everyone. The extra fridge was a great plus. Our only suggestion is to have a switch for the spotlight so that we could turn it on at night. It was a struggle walking up to the house in the dark.“
