„We had a rather mixed experience at Wenns Chop & Ale House. While the location was great and the restaurant offered some great options, the room left much to be desired. The disappointment began when we entered our room. What we have booked was advertised as a deluxe apartment on Hotels.com. The pictures on the platform had promised a spacious room with a comfortable sofa and an impressive bathtub in the middle of the room, along with a view of the minster. „Work space yes“

„This is a wonderful example of historic English buildings that have been updated for modern stays without losing their architectural quirks and historical oddities. Not ideal for people with limited mobility, but we enjoyed ducking under low lintels and walking over uneven floors, some of which have been around for several centuries. Our room was clean and well-provided, and though there was a leak in the clean-water part of our toilet the owner told us that the required part was on order and ...

„Had a one night stay as a solo traveller whilst coming to watch the British Touring Cars at Snetterton - spacious room and despite the hot weather spell we had due to the positioning of the room was very cool and got a great nights sleep! Great for stargazing as once the lights are out the village is pitch black! Can't comment on the breakfast as I was up too early to get to the track but would fully recommend if you want a relaxing stay away the the hustle and bustle.“
