Tolles Appartment. Hatten ein 2 Bedroom. Ruhig gelegen. Trotzdem nur einige Fahrminuten zu den Stränden, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Geräumiges Condo, Einrichtung etwas überaltert
Sehr geräumiges Condo mit zwei Schlafräumen gebucht, ideal für Familien (in unserem fall zwei Kinder), große Terrasse und vollständiger Küche mit amerikanischer Küche und Eisbereiter. Ärgerlich waren die 250$ Endreinigung (die bei Expedia auch nicht klar dargestellt waren!) pro Aufenthalt. Fiel bei unserem längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu sehr ins Gewicht (wir haben verlängert), aber wären wir nur wenige Nächte geblieben, dann wäre der einigermaßen akzeptable Preis pro Nacht schnell massiv teuer geworden. Vorsicht also in diesem Bereich. Ferner wollte man 20$/Tag für den Betrieb der Aircondition im Wohn- und 2.Schlafzimmer. Im Master-Bedroom war die Aircondition inklusive. Auch dies war bei Expedia nicht oder nicht ausreichend beschrieben.

Leider hatten wir bei der Ankunft überall sehr, sehr viele Ameisen und mussten einiges an Lebensmittel wegwerfen. Nach drei Tagen haben wir darauf gedrängt das Zimmer zu wechseln und dies auch getan. Dadurch ging ein halber Reisetag verloren. Ich habe dann den Vorschlag gemacht dafür die Reinigungskosten von Dollar 175 zu streichen, was akzeptiert wurde.

wunderschöne Anlage
Die Anlage war viel besser als erwartet, sehr schöne Gartengestaltung grosses Pool, welches mann bis 10 Uhr Nachts benutzen konnte. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön hell und sehr gross. Die Einrichtung war schon älter aber geschmackvoll. Es hatte Highspeed - Wlan im Apartment und einen Webergrill auf dem grossen Balkon. Wir hatten Meersicht gebucht, die hatten wir jedoch nur ganz vorne am Balkongeländer und nahe an dem Wohnzimmerfenster, es war jedoch nicht schlimm da die Anlage ja sehr schön war. Zum Meer sind wir immer mit dem Auto ( ca. 3 min. ) da es zu Fuss doch ein wenig weit war und mann der Strasse entlang laufen musste. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub.

Grosses praktisch Apartment
Gutes grosses Apartment, die Möbel bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch noch tip top! Meerblick und Sonnenuntergangsicht vom Balkon! Super! Die Lage ist ebenfalls gut, inmitten von tollen Beaches! Die Hotelanlage haben wir nicht benutzt (Pool, Spa?). Ich würde das Hotel empfehlen.

I love the location and it is easy to walk to gorgeous beaches. The property is beautifully maintained, but the condo we stayed in looked tired and a little run down. I have stayed at nicer condos in my previous stays at the Palms.

In need of a upgrade
The unit was very dated and in need of a current upgrade. Plumbing was original and made squealing sounds when in the shower. The built in AC unit (original) in the bedroom did not work so a temporary plug in one was In use. No AC on the rest of the unit. Outside all was very nice including the pool. For the cost and being in Wailea it should be much better. I think some of the units may be updated, so when booking look closely at the photos. The pool and hot tub were great!

This particular condo was terrible. The pillows for bed were lumps of old cloth. The furniture stunk, and were filthy, we guessed from people coming from beach with wet bathing suits. Just needed some deeper cleaning maybe. Primary shower did not drain had to stand in three inches of water. 10 day stay was only provided 1 kitchen garbage bag but was able to get more from desk clerk.

What I like about this place is it was close to the beaches and restaurants. What we did not like is that we have to pay extra for the AC in the second room and the living room. It was not disclosed when we booked. There was some mossing kitchen items. We requested for non smoking but it smelled cigarette inside the unit.

1. The refrigerator in the unit was not cooling to a proper level for the food stored in it. On our initial day (7/17) we placed milk, yoghurt, butter, and other items needing refrigeration in it immediately upon our check in at 3:00 pm. That evening around 9 pm I noticed that the liquids were only slightly cooled. I adjusted the cooling level to a higher setting at that time. The next morning I again noticed that all of the food was still only slightly cooled. At that time I again adjusted the cooling level to the highest setting for cooling. We did not use any of the refrigerated items that day as we ate out at a restaurant. The next morning (7/19) I noticed the milk, yoghurt and juice in the refrigerator was again only slightly cool and the butter was soft and liquid in it's container. WE did not use any of those items for concern of their being spoiled. I also noticed that as I dispensed water from the refrigerator that it appeared to have sprayed onto the top shelf inside of the refrigerator from the filter compartment. The exterior water and ice dispenser was not clean, as well as the handles for both the refrigerator and freezer. We proceeded with our packing and preparation for checkout and either left food in the refrigerator or threw out the remaining items that were in there. The freezer appeared to be functioning properly. 2. Overall cleaning of the unit was marginal. The tile floors were filthy and countertops in the bathrooms and kitchen needed wipin

Needs improvement
After seeing our friends newly renovated condo at The Palms, we were disappointed in the outdated condo that we were assigned. There was only air conditioning in the bedroom which had a weird odor. The patio view was of the parking lot. There was mold in the bathroom. The complex was nice but our condo needed improvement.

Condo we we’re upgraded too was very old and needed a good cleaning. We woke up to bugs in the kitchen and spiders throughout the condo. The screen doors were off the rails and not easy to slide them open. Overall i was very disappointed and bugs make a vacation stressful! The counter staff very pleasant and helpful.

I want so much to give the property a good review, but I can’t. The gentleman at the desk was awesome, but housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We have been to Hawaii many times, and have never had this problem, especially for what you pay to stay! The room was dirty and there were roaches. Housekeeping was sent back to fix the problem however they never showed up.

air conditioner was cold, some ants in the sink, lights over bathroom sinks, didnt work for awhile. We loved the deck and watching the sunset right from the deck!

We loved our stay and highly recommend staying here. The location, property, condo and overall area is extremely nice, quiet, safe and beautiful. Nearby beach access, shopping, food and golf. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit. Room was clean, all appliances worked, plenty of space and great view. Wailea is the only place to stay in Maui. Thank you for the great experience!
