This spacious Maui vacation rental is located near the entrance of Kamaole Sands along South Kihei Road. This easy in-and-out access means you’ll be on your way to your day’s adventure in no time. Separate bedroom and living rooms mean more space and added privacy. The full kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, four top stove with oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, dishware, and cookware. Sleeps up to 4 with 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed.

The seaside town of Kihei is perhaps one of Maui’s most underrated vacation destinations. While many travelers opt for the pricey, mega resorts in Kaanapali and nearby Wailea, Kihei offers a more affordable and diverse Maui experience. Kamaole Sands, located directly across from Kamaole Beach Park III, is among Kihei’s most highly-rated and popular condo resorts. And for good reason. Overall the condo was good. The patio furniture looked like it came from the dump. Not impressed with that at all, it was embarrassing for people to see it and also a constant water leak from the pipes that ran onto the patio floor that had to be wiped up by us. Reported it but nothing was done. Patio door needs a better lock. No dish cloths, no kitchen had towels and more tea towels. A rug at the patio door. Master bathroom sink did not hold water. I would not stay in this condo again without knowing that it has been fixed. I think we should be credited for the work we had to do for the fourteen days that we were there. I cannot recommend this condo to anyone else. I did not come to do that, I wanted a relaxing time on the patio.

The condo itself was good, had everything we needed for our family. Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards in the closet. Loved being on the main floor so our kids could run around on the grass while we enjoyed the amazing view!

Great location!! The condo is across the street from Kamaole Sands Beach. Condo grounds were impeccably maintained, with lots of amenities. Start your morning with an easy short walk to the beach, return for breakfast, pack up and head back to the beach (it is literally a 2 minute walk to the ocean), then spend the afternoon on the nicely shaded patio while watching the ocean, and then head back to the beach for sunset.

The unit is older and run down in areas. For instance, the wood shelf in the bedroom closet is peeling away and gave me a nasty splinter under my nail. The dryer only heats up your clothes but doesn’t blow air so it doesn’t dry your clothes/towels. We just hung everything up. When I emailed the property manager ahead of time to ask if the unit had beach chairs and snorkel masks, they said they didn’t know that info (the unit had both). Would have been helpful to know. We’ve stayed at Kam Sands many times and always want the ground floor unit for the kids. Building 10 is nice and close to the beach but that side gets zero sun on the lanai at any time of day. But it had lovely views of the ocean. Overall, we had a good time.

The property was beautiful, well kept and great location. It was everything that was advertised. There were beach mats, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, etc. that made the beach time convenient.

There have been many updates to the unit which are great. The living room and kitchen are up to date and clean as are the bathrooms. The bedroom is where things fall apart. The bedroom door has to be lifted to be closed. It would be a quick fix. The air conditioning unit is duct taped together too. The bed was hard but I’m really picky. There are lots of chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to take to the beach which was great. The location of the room is perfect.

Spacious one bedroom condo with convenient exit/entrance gate to S Kihei Road and Kamoale Beach. Good view to beach from lanai. Clean, and well appointed with a nice big kitchen. Easy check in and check out. Nice to have two full bathrooms when having two couples staying in one bedroom unit. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs in outside closet. Walking distance to some shops and restaurants in Kihei.
