Two community pools, tennis courts, and barbecue areas offer a change of pace after the sand. Walk toward Kamaole I for more shoreline or head along South Kihei Road for a casual dinner. It suits a couple that would rather build the day around a real beach morning than a long drive.



The Space:

Designed for two, this studio keeps the essentials close: one bed, one bath, air conditioning, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The private lanai gives you an outdoor spot for coffee or a late snack, while ceiling fans and cable TV make the slower hours comfortable. The Neighborhood:

Kihei Akahi puts Kamaole Beach Park II across South Kihei Road, so a swim, a beach walk, or a sunset on the sand is close at hand. Kamaole I sits about a half mile north for a longer shoreline wander. Cafe O'Lei and Moose McGillycuddy's are a short stroll away, with Coconut's Fish Cafe and the Kinaole Grill Food Truck nearby when dinner needs to stay casual. Two pools, tennis courts, and barbecue areas give you options without leaving the grounds.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
