Perfekte Lage nahe zum Strand, Zimmer mit Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Besteck und Geschirr für 2 Personen. Zimmerbuchung leider nicht korrekt erfüllt, Kingbett- statt des gebuchten Zweibettzimmers. War nach Aussage der Rezeption von Expedia nicht korrekt übermittelt. Alternative war vorhanden, aber nur gegen Aufpreis. Haben wir abgelehnt. Rezeption sehr unflexibel und nicht hilfsbereit.

Gute Lage und sauber
Wir hatten ein Hotelzimmer gebucht und bekamen ein Apartment mit Küche, Waschmaschine , Trockner, 2 Bädern und Terrasse . Das Zimmer H110 war gefliest und sauber. Es ist aber im Erdgeschoss und hat direkt an der Terrasse eine Hecke und gegenüber das Parkhaus. Auf Nachfrag, hätten wir nach 2 Tagen in eine höhere Etage ziehen können, aber das war und dann auch zu lästig und sind dort geblieben . Zimmer war sehr ruhig. Roomservice war auch ok. Strand ist über die Straße. Restaurants in der Nähe .

Solides Hotel in Strandnähe
Wir, mein Mann und ich, waren vom 13.9. bis 18.9. zu Gast im Aston at the Maui Banyan und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Hotel ist eher eine Wohnanlage, die Zimmer gleichen eher einer kleinen Wohnung als einem klassischen Hotelzimmer. (Großer Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle im Zimmer, großzügig gestaltete Dusche.) Die Möblierung und Ausstattung war solide und gut, nicht mehr ganz neu, dennoch in Ordnung. Rezeption und Zimmerservice war sehr freundlich. Die Lage direkt gegenüber dem Strand und in der Nähe von diversen Einkaufs- und Essenmöglichkeiten ist sehr gut. Zudem hat uns der Außenpool sehr gut gefallen, den wir vor allem abends, nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit, nutzten.

Pool war viel zu warm, Zimmer war nicht komplett greinigt (Kopfkissen hatte keinen frischen Bezug, Badetuch von Vorgängern befand sich noch auf dem Balkon und wurde nicht entfernt, Haarklammern wurden noch im Bad gefunden)

Das schlechteste Zimmer das ich je hatte.
Das Zimmer war mit Möbeln vollgestopft. Die A/C ist in Bodennähe aufgehängt und bläst unters Bett!? Eine dünne Holztür trennte das Zimmer von der Küche des (Rücksichtslosen) Nachbarn (Besitzer des Zimmers?) Geschirrgeklapper und Küchengerüche bis in die Nacht. Nach 300 Hotels auf der ganzen Welt war das das mieseste was ich je erlebt habe und die erste negative Bewertung. Positiv: Toller Strand direkt vor dem Haus.

Hotel in Seniorenresidenz
Ausgesprochen schön, wie in den meisten Hotels von Hawaii ist der Gartenbereich und der Poolbereich des Hotels gestaltet. Dieses Hotel ist Teil einer Seniorenresidenz. Das wäre auch die perfekte Zielgruppe für Übernachtungsgäste, denn für Senioren gibt es hier so einige Erleichterungen, wie z.B. spezielle Einkaufswägen zum Transportieren des Einkaufs vom PKW zum Zimmer. Sowohl am Pool, als auch beim Grillen am Pool treffen sich jeden Tag bzw. Abend die Senioren zum "Stammtisch". Wir hatten ein Standardzimmer mit recht einfacher Ausstattung. Leider ist der Raum sehr klein. Wir wussten zuerst gar nicht, wo wir unsere zwei Koffer unterbringen sollen. Die Wände zum Nachbarzimmer sind hellhörig. Unser Nachbar bekam bereits um 6 Uhr Morgens Telefonanrufe, die wir leider mitverfolgen mussten. Wer eine einfache Unterkunft möchte und bereits die 60 überschritten hat, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden dieses Hotelzimmer nicht mehr buchen, da das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unserer Meinung nach nicht ausgewogen ist.

hervorragendes Apartment T301
Allgemeines: Die Hotelanlage liegt, nur durch die Küstenstraße getrennt, am Strand. Restaurants sind einige in unmittelbarer Nähe. In der gesamten Anlage ist es sehr ruhig. Die Pools dürfen bis 22Uhr benutzt werden. 3 große Gasgrills stehen im Poolbereich zur Verfügung. Man konnte auch die kostenlosen Tennisplätze und Schläger/Bälle unkompliziert nutzen. Zimmer: Die Apartments sind scheinbar Eigentumsapartments, die vom Hotel verwaltet werden. Dadurch ergibt sich eine individuelle Ausstattung.Unser Zimmer lag fast am Ende der Anlage, sodass der Fußweg zum Strand schon einige Zeit brauchte. Unser 2-Raum-Apartment T301/301A war hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Küche war für mindestens 6-10 Personen ausgerüstet. Es war absolut alles vorhanden was man nur brauchen könnte und auch darüber hinaus: von der Parmesanreibe, Auflaufschalen bis zu 4 verschiedenen Obstkörben. Täglich wurden 2 Spülmaschinentabs und neue Handtücher gebracht. Es standen 3 Flachbildschirmfernseher, eine Playstation, ca. 20 DVDs ....zur Verfügung. Auch gab eine Waschmaschine und Trockner mit Waschmittel. Zur großen Freude der Kinder gab es 4 Boogieboards und Sandspielsachen auf dem Balkon. Bei unseren Überlegungen, ob es auch negatives zu berichten gibt, fiel uns nur ein, dass man (wie bei all unseren Hotels, Häusern und Wohnungen auf Hawaii) die Zimmer nicht verdunkeln kann, sodass es ab ca. 6Uhr hell wird.

The entry to the parking lot is across the street from the beach. The labeling of the floors is weird but the rooms are clean and comfy. Would stay here again.

The only thing I didn't like is they would allow us to check in early. We can from another condo and they wouldn't let us check in before 4pm. They should move up the check in time. The parking was hard at night and only parking is on third level. Just minor things to improve the stay.

I rented 3 condos for a group of10. Two were remodeled ours was not but clean looked nice view amazing but dated. One of the condos did not have an elevator. Difficult with luggage and small children. Had a nice clean pool. The grounds were beautiful. Staff was excellent. The location was amazing. 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Many restaurants and shops were very walkable, and I would definitely book these condos next time,

We arrived early, and they let us to a pre check in. They weren't ready with our room until 30 min after our check in time. However they had upgraded our room from standard to a suite, with a box of candy and a note to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facility was located close to the beach and many shops that we frequented during our stay. The property had some blemishes roped off with caution tape, but it didn't negatively impact our stay.

Had a good time and enjoyed the location but the conjoined hotel style room with zero insulation was bothersome. We could hear everything our neighbor was doing and saying and often found ourselves avoiding being ‘home’ until late evening. Front desk staff was short tempered and unhelpful when it came to luggage transporting to our building.. no mention of bellman carts, just told that we had to haul our stuff from main lobby up to our building.

We really appreciate the deletion of one night’s charge when our Southwest Airlines flight was cancelled. Staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The grounds were landscaped beautifully and well-maintained. We appreciated the free indoor parking and quick access to the beach. The room itself was dated however the bed was comfortable. The heater/AC was noisy, vents blew directly on to one side of the bed. We had to move a bedside table to divert airflow in order to sleep. After a couple of days the scent in the air changed from a disinfectant smell to a wet dog smell every time the blower ran.

The room did not have a second sink for dishes. We were expected to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. We were told we were in a cheap room that did not provide a second sink. I was not told this while I was reserving the room. I did not perceive that what I paid was considered cheap. The furniture was old and scratched. There was one fork provided. As a hotel guest and paying over $250 for cleaning fees I don’t feel I should have to take out the trash. Amenities were a joke. The hand soap bar was the size of a dental floss container. The dish soap container was about the size of a 2 oz bottle. The shampoo and conditioner were in bottles on the wall so I had no idea of their ingredients. Also you had to buy if you needed more amenities. No class. It was noisy and you could hear your neighbors. Also as I checked out I realized I left my IPad in the room so I ran upstairs and asked the cleaning woman if she could let me in the room to get it. She said no. I had to go to the main office. I got the clerk to make me a key, drove back to the room got my IPad, went back to the office and returned the key. This could have been handled differently particularly since I was using a cane. I would never recommend this establishment. It is basically someone’s old condo being rented as a hotel room.

We appreciate your comments Judy and the Hotel room classification you booked does not have a kitchen like our one bedroom units. The rooms are serviced every 4th day and the fees you paid include reservation fee, Damage Waiver fee and checkout cleaning fee. We hope you enjoyed the area and Maui overall.

Bugs of various types in the kitchen including red roaches. Housekeeping came and sprayed twice. Both times the bugs were still there the next morning The staff at the front desk offered to change our room but at that point we were only going to be there one more night. Probably the bugs were already into our suitcases by then. Ugh! Overpriced and resort fees were high. There was a $150 room cleaning fee and they still want you to run the dishwasher, take out the trash and sweep. Of course there are the bugs too! Location okay.

It is nice that it is 3 minute walk to the beach. However, we had a rooster wake us up every morning at 430-5 am. When I asked if we could do a late check out and check out at noon rather than 11 I was told that wasn’t possible. I’ve never asked for a late check out and been told no.

This property was in a great location and our room was very clean, well decorated and had a nice view of a vacant lot and not other buildings. Location is so ideal walking distance to beaches, grocery store and restaurants. We had a great stay. Downside was the 4 pm check in as if you get to Maui early there is no place to store luggage and we did see broken in cars on our trip and knew this was an issue (not at this site) and did not want to leave our vehicle in our rental car. I did read the warnings about the cleaning fee but it is still shocking to see how many fees they tacked on our bill when they don't even come and clean every day: $200 Housekeeping departure fee with $34.83 tax on that fee, $39.99 Damage Waiver Fee with $6.97 tax on that fee, $29.99 Reservation Fee with $5.22 tax on that fee. The total extra fees were $317 and more than the room charge per night. If there was some guarantee I would have just as nice of a room the next time I would probably return since the location was so great.

No ice machine on property. Can purchase bag of ice at nearby store. But overall, room and staff were great. Phones not working but staff checked in by text, very responsive. Felt the aloha!

Great value
Stayed at the hotel room portion of this property, not the condo’s that are rented out. It’s a little bit dated in the rooms but honestly it was a really great stay. Everything was clean, staff is super nice and helpful, wifi was fine, (wifi speed was 29mbps)… there was a microwave and mini fridge/freezer in there room and coffee machine with coffee and creamers /sweetness provided. Really conveniently located on the main road between Kihei and Waillea. Lots of great food options nearby and beach across the street.

Was an amazing place, second time there and it wasn’t a disappointment. Check in was a breeze and our room was clean and lots of towels. Right across from a beautiful beach and plenty of stores and restaurants. Very beautiful spot for all sorts of families
