Delightful Property
Really enjoyed this property. It was clean and seems to have had some updates since the photos were posted on the site. For our quick trip, this was a perfect place to rest in the evenings. Loved the balcony on the lake. Few Cons… dresser seemed to be broken and the glass stove top had a pretty major crack in it, so I was scared to use that. Overall we really did enjoy this property and we plan on saving this one for future trips to the area. Also the owner was very kind.

Weekend Getaway
A beautiful property just a short stroll from the beach! We enjoyed strolls on the beach while on the Island for the wedding of some friends. The space was perfect for our needs. Loved it!

Thank you for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed staying in my villa. The TV in the villa works, sometimes guest change the source on the remote to use their streaming services.

Stayed off season and it was quiet and relaxing. The new shower is great. The pillows on the bed can be better but the mattress is great. Washer and dryer plus a dishwasher is super handy. Ample amount of space for a couple. Heather and Teeter supermarket is 3 miles away where you can get quality seafood. I cooked SC fresh shrimp everyday and it was awesome

This condo suited our needs for the most part. Great location. Easy enough to find.Plenty of kitchen supplies. A couple suggestions would be to supply a couple blankets in the unit and there were three extra pillows but only one extra pillow case. There is stair lighting but was not working. Makes it a little more difficult when its completely dark and suitcases and supplies are being transported up and down the stairs. Owner very responsive when called or texted. Nice to have a washer/dryer as well. Also, beach chairs available in porch closet that allowed us to be able to sit on beach and enjoy the sand and sun

Perfect for couple's weekend
My wife and I spent a long weekend in the unit and it was perfect for our needs--1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen/den. The porch overlooking the lagoon, from which we saw deer and a gator, was nice and private. The space is quiet and clean and had everything we needed.

A short walk to the beach with lovely surroundings.
The 2nd floor Villa overlooking the lagoon was a quiet setting which allowed for some much needed relaxing and recharging. We saw several deer and other wildlife that wandered about the property regularly as we sat on the screened in patio enjoying the view. Freshfields Village supplied excellent dining with quaint shops and a well stocked grocery store just a short distance away. We enjoyed our stay and will look forward to another visit to Kiawah Island.

Fabulous location and comfortable stay.
We saw multiple deer and alligators out the windows of the screened in porch and it was a very convenient walk to the beach! The home provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, however the bed pillows have all seen better days and need to be retired for new ones. All else was clean and tidy and our kids age 8 & 11 found the sofa bed plenty big and comfortable to share.

Todd was great to work with and the condo is in great condition. The new shower is great. Bed was comfortable and all other amenities were as shown. The location was perfect for me- a quick 1-2 minute walk to the conference center and maybe 4 or 5 min walk to the beach, and had a great pond view and felt very secluded. I visit Kiawah each year for a "workation" will definitely be booking this unit again! Thank you Todd for being so responsive!

Lowcountry nature lover’s paradise
This villa overlooks a lagoon surrounded by mature live oaks and magnolia trees. The screened-in back patio allows you to enjoy the birds by day and the frog symphonies at night. We even enjoyed 2 evenings of heavy rain and Thunder storms. Best of all, the setting is quiet and private. You cannot see anyone else’s unit from the back patio. This rental provides the most bang for the buck. If you are looking for a true getaway, and enjoy all the sights and sounds that a wooded lowcountry natural setting provides, I highly recommend staying here. Todd was kind, helpful, and responsive and made the experience seamless.

Todd's place is well located to bike paths and the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cookware, but food prep and storage space is limited, as shown in the photos. Guests should bring their own salt / pepper and seasonings. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay.

I stayed here for work. I was done with work about 2 o’clock every day so I was able to jump on my bike and go for a ride throughout Kiawah. It’s just a great location a great property, a nice, relaxing back patio overlooking a lagoon with alligators swimming through Todd was a great host and I recommend this property

Enjoyable Villa
This was our second time staying at Todd’s Villa and we enjoyed our stay both times. The screened in porch is very relaxing. We rented bikes and road them on the beach and bike trails. Short walk to the beach. The king size bed was very comfortable and the new renovated bathroom with the walk in shower is great. We will be coming back again.

More than we ever expected
We had the privilege of staying in a West Beach Village property in a second floor villa overlooking a lagoon. The accommodations were excellent with a newly renovated bathroom and spacious bedroom. The view from the villa was beautiful and the walk to the beach was quick and easy. This was our first visit to Kiawah and this property and it certainly will not be our last. We were thrilled with our host's responsiveness to any and all of our questions and the entire experience was just exceptional. We are planning on returning again and again.

A tired apartment
…a small space. Good for couples who don’t need a lot of room. In cooler temps than July the deck would make it feel more spacious but we had to keep the sliders closed. The furnishings are tired and there is no attempt at any decor. The walk to the beach through another property is not bad if their gate is unlocked. . Otherwise it is a 6 minute walk to the beach. Bring your own sheets. Available sheets are stiff and feel gritty. Some items broken: refrig light, paper towel holder,…filthy light above front door. It all works if you’re not looking for a pretty, cheerful place. The washing machine was new. Shower new. Tiny to no counter space in kitchen. Had to use toaster on the floor. A very worn out couch. I’d call it a sad space in a beautiful place. No love has been put into it. So if you don’t care about your interior surroundings, it will work. The beach is glorious. The entry gate to the island had no idea who we were. Had to go inside and make some phone calls. Owner had not registered us. A30 minute confusion. Be aware 24 steps up to your place.

Thank you for your review of my villa. I wish you had notified me during your stay of any broken items. Maintenance would have fixed them immediately. Same goes for the sheets, I would have been happy to have them swapped out if you had let me know during your stay. Yes, Kiawah is going to be hot during the month of July. Most guests enjoy having breakfast on the porch before the heat of the day sets in. The pictures of the kitchen are accurate and as stated in the listing the villa is 620 sq feet of living space. My listing also clearly states that it is a second floor villa, stairs are necessary. The villa is ideal for couples looking to experience Kiawah. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the villa, this comment has been made in more than one previous review. The entire bathroom is brand new in February 2022.

Our Headquarters for Fun
Our comfortable condo was just right for us to relax, watch some college bowl games, eat local seafood, and walk on the beach and in the surf. We were driving by the pretty market Christmas lights as the New Year arrived. Not another person was visible. Returning to the gate, to a warm welcome, was sweet. This visit was all we had hoped it would be. Thank you.
