A beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground level condo located in the gated Shipyard Condominium area of the prestigious Truman Annex community. You will find everything here you want to make your Key West vacation spot a home away from home and more.

Beach House Condo has the perfect back deck to sip a cafe con leche in the morning or read a book in the afternoon. The property has an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen that allows the cook to remain in the gathering, a dining area with seating for 4 and a comfortable living room that opens to the large private deck. The bright and cheerful master bedroom suite has a queen-size bed and private bathroom while the second bedroom has two twin beds and a bathroom just outside the door.

The shared swimming pool is steps away from the property, the perfect place to sun, relax, enjoy a good book or cool down after a busy day enjoying the sights of Key West. Reserved parking and WIFI complete the amenity package for this property.

Truman Annex is a secure gated community in the midst of historic Old Town Key West, one of the most requested locations for travelers to Key West. Located at the entrance to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park with one of our finest beaches and only 2 blocks from infamous Duval Street with shops, galleries, bars and restaurants from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean, this spot is the ideal beach rental in the Florida Keys. Parking Details:
- One parking space per unit, no guest parking.
- No vehicle over 18’ long or 80” wide allowed.
- No large trucks, trailers, mobile homes, vans, campers or similar vehicles shall be parked in the Truman Annex.
- Motorcycles and scooters must be parked in the parking lot and not on sidewalks or porches.
- All vehicles parked within the community must either have a permanent parking sticker or a temporary parking pass (obtained at the Security Guardhouse).
- All others will be subject to ticketing and towing.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Quiet & safe neighborhood. Kitchen for the most part had everything we needed. Bedrooms are smaller so it was tight (and we pack pretty light) . They could improve it with better beds.

Great property!

We spent ten days in Key West in October at this property. When we arrived, it was fully stocked with everything we needed minus perishables. The condo has great amenities and an excellent location to Old Town activities. Check in and check out were easy and fast. We highly recommend this unit!

Nice Condo/ Trouble getting into complex

We enjoyed the stay at Key West. We arrived after dark, picked up our keys at the office in the lock box. When we arrived at the condo there was a gate to get in . There was no gate code on my literature to get into the complex. I had to call the emergency number to get the code to get in. The next morning I was reading literature that was in the condo about parking passes for the cars it advised me Togo to a Front st. Address/ bldg 21 to get a parking pass. This literature was from 2013. I went to the Address and inquired about the need for a parking pass and they had no idea what I was talking about. I did speak with someone there and they advised me that I needed just to go to the guard shack and request one. After that was all taken care we did enjoy our stay. Will plan on returning!

Truman Annex in Key West

This was a nice property and perfect for our group. The unit was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the back patio a lot. The area is the perfect distance away from many attractions and quiet enough at night to be able to rest. Great place!

Great Trip to Key West

The property is very nice and everything was clean when we arrived. Check in directions were easy to follow; there were no contact procedures due to COVID and our keys were left for us in a locked box. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The complex is quiet, and we had an assigned parking spot. We enjoyed using the pool and meeting some of our neighbors. We had plenty of space except for my giant suitcase (I always overpack) had to be placed in the living room floor. This property is well-taken care of and we highly recommend it. It is located in Old Town section of Key West and we were able to walk to Duval Street and lots of restuarants, shops, and museums. Thanks for making our trip comfortable and enjoyable!

Not as clean as I like.

The property was not as clean as I would like, the floors needed scrubbed when walking in socks they turned black, also the beds were very uncomfortable, the mattress pad was too big and the contents in the comforts were bunched up. Also the people above us would run their washer anytime and could be heard in our bedroom when we were trying to sleep. I will not be using HomeAway again.

Truman Annex

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Truman Annex. It is close to everything so you can walk to downtown. I would recommend staying in Truman Annex if you are planning a stay in Key West., I did not give it a four star rating since the photos of our place said there was an outside grill to grill fish and there was a George Foreman grill only.
