Genießen Sie wĂ€hrend Ihres Aufenthalts in diesem kĂŒrzlich renovierten Adirondack-Haus einen privaten Zugang zum berĂŒhmten östlichen Zweig des AuSable River. Dieser Fluss ist weltbekannt fĂŒr sein Fliegenfischen. Die weite FlĂ€che mit Becken, Felsen und tiefen offenen FlĂ€chen sorgt fĂŒr eine aufregende Forellenaktion. Ein abgeschiedener Privatstrand ist eine Besonderheit unserer Immobilie.

Dieses Haus wurde 1840 erbaut und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber KiefernwĂ€nde, Holzböden und eine rustikale Einrichtung, die die natĂŒrliche Umgebung unterstreicht. Dieses Nichtraucherhaus verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine große WohnkĂŒche, drei Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und einen Raum mit viel Platz fĂŒr große Familien. Gehen Sie ĂŒber fĂŒnf Hektar mit offener Wiese, Kiefernwald oder setzen Sie sich auf die ĂŒberdachte Veranda, um das Rauschen und den Anblick des rauschenden Wassers zu genießen.

Auf dieser Seite befindet sich eine 24 x 26 Scheune. Eine ruhige Straße bietet einen einfachen Zugang zum Hotel. Das direkt gegenĂŒberliegende GrundstĂŒck des Staates New York schĂŒtzt die PrivatsphĂ€re von Fischern, Schwimmern und Sonnenanbetern. Die KĂŒste hat SandstrĂ€nde und ist groß genug, um ein Zelt aufzustellen, Decken fĂŒr ein Picknick und LiegestĂŒhle. Die Unterkunft befindet sich entlang des Ironman Bike-Kurses. Wir befinden uns an der Grenze zwischen Keene und Upper Jay.

Auf den hohen Gipfeln gelegen, sind viele FreizeitaktivitĂ€ten in der NĂ€he und können das ganze Jahr ĂŒber genossen werden. Zum Angeln, Wandern, Kanufahren, Tubing, Klettern, Radfahren, Jagen, Golfen, Reiten usw. ist dies ein großartiger Ort.

Die olympischen Austragungsorte Mount Von Hovenberg und Whiteface Mountain sind nur 15 Minuten entfernt. Das malerische Dorf Lake Placid und der Olympic Center Complex sind nur 20 Minuten entfernt. Die internationalen FlughÀfen in Montreal, Kanada, Albany, New York und Burlington Vt sind weniger als 2 Autostunden entfernt. Lake Champlain und die FÀhren nach Vermont weniger als 40 Minuten nach Osten.

Gorgeous Home with River Access!

Everything was perfect for our stay at the River House. We found the address easily and check in was no problem. The house was clean and well stocked, and while there was no air conditioning, there were multiple fans that we used during our stay. The fire pit clearing across the road was awesome, and the river access was amazing! We spent so much time enjoying the river, floating on the provided inner tubes, and playing in the swimming hole. We might be back next year, we loved it so much! Highly recommended!

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is much more spacious than the photos suggest, providing plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Stargazing was absolutely incredible—with an unobstructed view of the sky, we could clearly see the Milky Way. The river is a hidden gem: secluded, stunningly beautiful, and perfect for swimming, tubing, and fly fishing. It felt like our own private retreat. The property itself was spotless and immaculately maintained, with thoughtful touches and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, offering easy access to hiking trails, fishing spots, and scenic drives with breathtaking mountain views. It’s also just a short drive to local restaurants and a gorgeous scenic route to Lake Placid. We can’t recommend this place highly enough—it’s a perfect getaway for nature lovers and those looking to unplug and unwind.

Incredible place to stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at the river house. The river is beautiful and fun to relax by and play in. The location is perfect.. within easy range of a bunch of great hikes, swimming holes, and Lake Placid. We enjoyed making s’mores and star gazing. We did some cooking and grilling and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Weekend

What a wonderful way to celebrate two family birthdays!! We can not say enough about how wonderful the accommodations were. The house was clean and cozy and the owner was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure that we had what we needed. The house is a short drive to Whiteface mountain and just thirty minutes to the quaint town of Lake Placid. We will definitely be back.

Amazing stay!

Myself, my husband, our two girls and our friends with their two boys stayed for a long weekend! It was in a great location to get to whiteface but also into Lake Placid.The house was exactly as shown if not better! Everything was beautifully decorated and cozy. The king bed and queen beds were really comfortable and none of the 4 kids said anything bad about their beds. The kids adventured on the river with some of the adults which was beautiful. We didn’t have to use the washer and drier but it was there if needed. Dishwasher was great to have! Lots of games to play at night or while relaxing during the day. Some of our group went to whiteface for the day and the Moms went to the Jack Rabbit trail to cross country ski. Responsiveness was amazing and everyone was helpful and friendly. I will suggest that they take more photos because the photos just don’t do it as much justice as it deserves. Thank you again for a wonderful 3 day weekend!!

Cozy Ski house

The home was exactly as described. Warm, cozy and properly equipped for our family. We were centrally located between Lake Placid and Whiteface. We had a busy itinerary, but when we were at the cabin, the family room and game table was where everyone gathered. Thank you for sharing your winter wonderland cabin with us. Relaxing getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here for Canadian Thanksgiving. The cabin is furnished and decorated perfectly to provide a real cozy atmosphere. It’s exceptionally comfortable. The photos don’t do it justice. Very well stocked. Amazing privacy along the river bed. Close to trails. Excellent views of the fall colours. A short drive to the busy areas of Lake Plscid. Enjoyed Flume Falls and going on the Cloud splitter gondola up Whiteface Mon. Will stay again!

Great peaceful getaway

Overall we were very happy with our stay. You can hear the river from the house and is a short walk to it. The house was cozy and perfect for the four of us. Awesome dark skies at night. Everyone in town was very nice. The food at the Ice jam inn and restaurant was the best we tried in the area.

Wonderful Vacation Home!

We loved staying at this comfy home in Keene/Upper Jay. The house was very clean, well equipped, and we felt like we were in a homey cabin in the woods. We were there for hiking and it was well situated to trails both in Lake Placid and Wilmington, and everywhere in between! I loved sitting out on the front porch in the morning with my coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine and listening to the Ausable go by. When we walked across the road to the picnic area and saw the river and the beach, all we could think was "we have got to bring our grandchildren here!!" Trish is excellent about communications and sharing info on the surrounding area! We can't wait to come back!!

The river house never disappoints

This is our 8th stay at the river house, and we hope it’s a tradition that continues for many more years. Trish and Mark have put so much love into the property, the continued improvements mix the charm of the original house with modern convenience. The house is clean and filled with everything you may need on your vacation including clean comfortable bedding, all kitchen needs, a gas grill and board games. We enjoyed spending the days at the river and the evenings around the game table.

We really enjoyed your property, beautiful view, house, river. We wish we were able to bring a 9th person. Maybe in your listing, when it says pet friendly, mention that there's a fee per pet and right away mention that the dogs cannot get in the furniture or bedding. We brought our pet because he is a support dog, but the conditions you posted are difficult to follow. We got the email saying that a couple days prior to it. There was no way we could leave him in a kennel then, and for the money that we were charged to bring him, we could've gotten a nice place for him to stay. It will just give future guest an idea of how pet friendly your place is. How can you relax and change the way you and your pet live? it was stressful. But overall, you are so very blessed to have such a beautiful place. We are even thinking on getting a property around there. It was a wonderful experience, except for the fact that we don't consider it "pet friendly". Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful place. We enjoyed reading past guest's comments, the notebook didn't have any pages left to write on. May God continue blessing you with the opportunity of having such a peaceful dream.

Great stay!

There is so much right about this house: the cabiny comfort, the quiet, the river, the fire pit, the grill and the location near so many good hikes. We loved it and I hope we can come back. It got hot but the fans provided made it comfortable. The Wi-Fi is spotty and slow but that only encouraged more reading.

Amazing location!

We had a perfect trip! We had 3 adults, 2 teens, 2 12yos, and 2 dogs. The river was my favorite part!!! It’s absolutely beautiful, secluded, and perfect. The location was great overall too. Our activities away from the house included climbing a high peak (Phelps, from the Adirondack loj trailhead), cliff jumping at flume falls (an annual stop we make), a new cliff jumping spot- split rock falls, a day in lake placid, basketball & biking at Wilmington town park, and mountain biking right across the street!

This property in addition to a beautiful AuSable river side beach is close to so many hikes and swimming holes. The drive to Lake Placid, either of the two ways (we like both), is beautiful. The local grocery, produce shops, and restaurants (including the Monday Tuesday grill walking distance) are a nice break from cooking (kitchen, gas grill, or campfire). House is very comfortable with recently upgraded restrooms, washer/dryer, and outdoor shower.

Perfect Adirondack Getaway

My wife, two sons (10 and 7), and our dog had a wonderful stay at this riverfront cabin in the Adirondacks. The home was exactly as described and depicted, yet somehow even bigger than we expected! The location is perfect for nearby hiking and fishing. Short drives to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain, plus many other high peaks. Every drive offered breathtaking views. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. This was a perfect launching off point for any Adirondack adventures. Thanks to Trish and Mark for helping my family and I make some amazing mountain memories.
