Wir hatten einen angenehmen aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist perfekt für Familien mit Kindern. Das Essen ist ganz ok. Die Zimmer sind sauber, einzig die Kaffeetassen wurden bei uns nach Benutzung nicht wieder frisch aufgefüllt. Ansonsten ist das Personal meist sehr freundlich (der Portier Markos hatte immer gute Laune und war super freundlich).

Rundum zufrieden
Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Trotz Corona-Umstände waren alle Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend und die meisten Hotelattraktionen geöffnet. Das Hotel liegt super zentral und dennoch sehr ruhig. Komme bestimmt wieder.

Schönes Hotel mit Servicemängeln
Das Almyra ist ein schön gestaltetes Hotel mit einer gelungenen Garten- und Poolanlage. Der Service ist durchschnittlich, leider teilweise etwas langsam. Hauptaugenmerk wird auf Stammgäste (Golfspieler) gelegt. Erstaunlicherweise mischt sich das Hotel in Angelegenheiten zwischen den Gästen ein; so Ergriff ein Hotelmanager Partei für einen Stammgast, der auf dem Parkplatz des Hotels einen Unfall verursacht hatte. Im Nachgang wurde dieser Vorfall als Missverständnis abgetan. Die Gäste des Almyra sind vor allem Rentner und Familien. Leider gibt es keinen Sandstrand, dafür lässt sich in der Bucht ausgezeichnet baden. Bis auf das Tennisspielen und den Gym sind alle sportlichen Aktivitäten kostenpflichtig.

Geschmackvoll und edel
Almyra ist ein ganz tolles Hotel, ursprünglich von den Siebzigern aber komplett umgebaut in einer reduzierten Formsprache Anfang der 2000-Jahre. Alles eingebettet in einem wunderschönen Garten mit mehreren Pools und Restaurants. Das Essen war ahervorragend.

Relocated to next doo hotel but nice experience
I was transferred from Almyra to the neighboring Annabelle Resort. This was a disappointment of course because I had booked the Almyra for its design, but the hotel management tried to make up for it by offering a room upgrade and free half board. The Annabelle was a very nice experience as well - its design is less contemporary and more classical (a matter of taste) but it has just undergone a huge renovation, so everything is brand new. In fact, the renovations were still going on, so there was some construction noise during the day but it did not really impact on our experience at the beautiful pools. Service and staff were outstanding and we were also able to use the Almyra facilities, such as the adult-only spa which was a nice spot given that at the Annabelle there were quite a few families with small children

Wunderbar zum Entspannen!
Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, mit direktem Zugang zu einem kleinen Strand. Die Pools sind wunderbar, es gibt einen für Erwachsene und einen für Kinder, die durch ein Restaurant getrennt sind, so daß man sich aussuchen kann, wieviel Ruhe man möchte. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend und hat eine große Auswahl. Freundliches Personal ist ständig dort. Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Seeblick nehmen -- es lohnt sich. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und hell; abends kann man das Fenster öffnen und zum Wellengang einschlafen...

Sehr schöne hotelanlage in guter Lage
Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön. Die Pools wirklich sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Essen ist sehr gut, sowohl das Buffet als auch das a la carte Restaurant unten am Meer. Die anderen haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Das Personal ist sehr nett und nicht aufdringlich. Die Zimmer sind schön, wenn auch ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Aber alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Nicht zuletzt hat uns die Lage des Hotels sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt nicht weit vom Hafen (zu Fuß 5 min) und trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig und man kann dem Trubel entfliehen wenn man will.

angenehmes und chilliges Hotel
Wir haben zwei Nächte im Almyra verbracht und ein Standard-Doppelzimmer gebucht. Wir hätten den Aufpreis für die Meerseite zahlen sollen, denn die Hauptstrasse ist auch nachts sehr befahren und daher war schlafen mit offenem Fenster nicht möglich. Die Klimmaanlage ist nämlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hatte ihre Mühe. Viel Lärm, wenig Kühle. Wir haben uns dennoch sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage direkt an der Promenade, ca. 15 Min zu Fuss zum Hafen und mit einer Menge Bars und Restaurants in der Nähe, mangelt es hier an nichts. Einen Strandzugang gibt es auch, aber in Realität sind das 5 Meter Strand mit vier Liegen - aber man kann im Meer baden und danach wieder auf die Hotelanlage. Auch die Pool-Landschaft ist schön gestaltet, zum Schwimmen nicht geeignet, aber zum chillen sehr schön mit Sonnenbetten und Tüchern über dem Pool abgehängt. Wir durften das Frühstück geniessen, was ja in vielen Hotels die Achillesverse ist, leider auch hier. Obwohl sie fixe Zuständigkeiten beim Personal haben, ist die Koordination doch etwas wie die Schlacht am kalten Buffet. Wobei das Buffet alles und mehr hergab, als man essen kann. Sehr lecker. Das Highlight war unser kleines privates Frühstück in der Lobby, da wir einen sehr frühen Start noch vor dem offiziellen Beginn des Buffets hatten.

Hotel sehr schön aber leider etwas renovierungsbedürftig, insbesondere was die Außenbereiche angeht. Die Sonnenliegen und die Auflagen der Sonnenliegen sind in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Ebenso der hölzerne Sonnenschutz. Der Hauptpool hat sich zu einem Kinderschwimmbecken entwickelt in dem den ganzen Tag durchgehend 40 - 50 Kinder herumtoben. Es gibt noch einen ganz kleinen Pool im Spa Bereich wo keine Kinder schwimmen dürfen, aber der ist eher ein Tauchbecken und es stehen nur sehr wenig Liegen diesem Bereich zur Verfügung.... Die Einrichtung hat uns aber sonst sehr gut gefallen und das Personal war sehr nett.

Man versteht jedes Wort vom Nachbarzimmer und Flur. Samstag morgens wurde dann von 7.00-8.30h der Rasen gemäht... Sehr schmale kurze Badewanne.

Schickes Hotel direkt an der Hafenpromenade
Wir (29 u. 32) waren im November im Almyra Hotel und waren begeister von der Lage des Hotels direkt am Hafen. Der Spa-Bereich ist schön, die Zimmer groß und schick-zurückhaltend eingerichtet. Beim Frühstück sitzt man unter Olivenbäumen mit Blick aufs Meer, direkt am Wasser gibt es ein kleines Restaurant mit wenigen Tischen. Die Hafenpromenade mit Tavernen und Bars ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Der Strand direkt am Hotel ist nur ein winziger Streifen, wer Strandurlaub will, sollte besser die Strände in der Umgebung erkunden.

Staff amazing at every step. Breakfast 7-10 am with a full selection of dishes (Cypriot and continental mix); the only minor downside - no change of daily menu. Parking very convenient right next to the hotel. Two clean outdoor pools. Gym closes in the evening so did not have a chance to visit. Bottom line - loved my stay!

Overpriced!! Building needs renovation . Poor room facilities. Beds,pillows etc. needs replacement . Toilet fan was randomly functioning during night so old and loud could not sleep. External facilities , garden,pools, spa etc are very good. Hotel staff are very helpful and polite.

Hotel ideally located close to town on beachfront. Delicious breakfast and very pleasant dining area. We were given a frontline suite overlooking sea with private sunbeds on grass which was excellent. Only area of possible improvement are pool sunbeds which are reserved by guests with towels very early and in short supply. Special thanks to Christian for his very helpful customer service.

This is my 3rd time staying at this Hotel. The staff and amenities are 5*. The upgrade works carry out on the property since my last stay are 5*. Food 5*, Spa and Gym 5*, Pool areas 5*, Location 5*. The only fault I have with the Almyra is the reception I would only rate this 3*. The same issues on my previous stays with reception, check your bill and if late check out is needed I would suggest tell them this at the start of your stay and not the day before as requested. As you do not have to deal with reception on a daily basis I would recommend this Hotel.

Great hotel but would benefit from a face lift
We received a warm welcome on arrival. I can’t remember the gentlemen’s name but the guy who checked us in couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was one of the inland facing rooms which could have done with a face lift. It’s probably a strange thing to comment on, but there were a lot of trees on that side of the hotel with really loud bugs living in the trees! They were so loud that they became very apparent when we wanted to go to sleep! The bed, although not the comfiest at first and I’m pretty sure had a dip at the end of the bed, we did sleep really well! The two family pools were so busy we were unable to find a spare bed on the first morning. We think families secured their beds then went for breakfast. We soon discovered the adults pool which was great. The breakfast buffet had fairly decent variety. We ate at different restaurants each evening both at Almyra and Annabelle’s l which were excellent. Being half board some of the restaurants offered a choice of 3 courses. Others allowed you to spend an allowance of 35 euros towards your meal which given most of the dishes were 20 euros + we found we were then having to contribute quite significantly to the total cost of the meal. Although the restaurants were premium we didn’t feel like it was that good value for money and should have done breakfast only and eaten out at local tavernas instead. Would have sampled more local cuisine that way too. Overall we did have an enjoyable stay though.

Super service de l’hôtel Nicoletta et Elen au petit déjeuner sont tellement souriante et serviable. Tout les soirs je demandais du lait chaud pour les enfants et cela venait dans les 5 minutes. Point négatif : malgré le crédit vip donné par expedia pour le SPA je déconseille de faire un message. Nous en avions reservé pour 4 personnes et tout le monde était unanime, sur 45 minutes de massages, vous êtes massé 20 minutes au total.

This is a nice hotel in a very nice area. But it is pricey for what it offered. I paid over $450 per day for a sea view room to get one that I had to stand up to see the sea. Staff were nice to re-locate us to a higher floor. Then the room wasn't properly prepared. Balcony door wasn't locking, air conditioning labored hard and couldn't keep cool, fan in bathroom wasn't functioning, a light bulb needed replacement, shampoo etc. were not replenished. Then at check-in our passports were scanned, and the images kept for "security", to which we objected and asked that they delete the images and only keep the names and number for ID. This is a reason for us not to return.

We enjoyed our honeymoon here. Staff were very attentive and treated us like royalty. The breakfast was excellent and the fact that you could use the Annabelle restaurants (next door) gave excellent variety in dinner options.

Great hotel with great perks if you book through Expedia. We got the upgrade and 55€ credit for a massage, that has been just amazing. The hotel is perfect also if you have a baby and you want a day off, as there is an inner kindergarten for 56€ per day.
