Upon check-in we were given the wrong room number. We took our luggage/groceries up & struggled with keycards to get in the room until the guests staying there opened the door to confront us. We returned to the front desk & they then gave us the correct room number, but our keycards wouldn’t open that room either. It was a very awkward/unpleasant check-in after traveling all day. The building location, pools & lagoon beach were all amazing! We’ve stayed at Aulani and Marriott, but we preferred these condos in between as they were much quieter & very relaxing, Easy walk to the other lagoon beaches, restaurants & the shopping center down the street. Nice to have garage parking, but our space was far from the unit. We’ve stayed in several similar style luxury condos, but for the rate we paid, we were disappointed with the overall condition of this unit. The dishwasher was cracked & broken with a piece of tape on it saying “do not use.” The dining chairs fabric were all stained, so we ate our meals at the kitchen counter (only 2 stools) or in the deck chairs. Overall, the furniture was all worn, chipped & not up to the quality of the complex/rate. The patio had a bunch of empty planter pots. The kitchen was very sparse, not enough plates/cups to match occupancy of 6, so we had to wash dishes every meal & use random items. Cooking pans were limited & old/damaged. We booked here for a luxury kitchen to cook in, which it was not. We’ll come back but only if we stay in another unit.
