The Space:

Living Space: The open concept living area is designed with relaxation in mind. The condo also features air conditioning (split AC system in living room and a secondary in the primary bedroom), and high-speed Wi-Fi. The condo has two bathrooms for your convenience.



Sleeping Arrangements: The condo has two bedrooms. The primary features a King size bed and is connected to the en suite bath. The condo is also furnished with a King size bed in the guest bedroom and a Queen pull out sleeper sofa in main living area.



Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, cookware, and utensils, allowing you to prepare your own meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table or on the lanai for an al fresco dining experience.

The Neighborhood:

The condo is located at Pono Kai Resort in the historic town of Kapaa on Kauai. Kapaa offers a charming small-town feel, and the resort is within easy walking distance of local restaurants, boutiques, shops, and grocery stores. If you’re visiting on the first Saturday of the month, don’t miss the town’s lively event featuring live music, local crafts, and great food.



Bicycle rentals are conveniently located right next door to the resort, and you’ll be just minutes from popular ocean activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and surfing.



Explore some of Kauai’s most beautiful beaches, all within about a 30-minute drive, including Lydgate Beach Park, Kalapaki Beach, Kealia Beach, and Poipu Beach.



Just steps from the resort, you can walk, run, or bike along the scenic Ke Ala Hele Makalae as it winds along the Pacific coastline. This beloved trail has even been recognized in the Hall of Fame by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. A must-experience during your stay!



Getting Around:

Kapaʻa is centrally located on the east side of Kauaʻi, making it a convenient home base for exploring the island. While there are shops, restaurants, and beaches within walking or biking distance, we highly recommend renting a car to fully experience everything Kauaʻi has to offer.



The resort is about a 15-minute drive from Līhuʻe Airport, and easy access to Kuhio Highway allows you to explore both the North Shore (Princeville, Hanalei) and South Shore (Poʻipū) with ease. For a more local experience, the Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal bike path runs right along the ocean and is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking.



Ride-sharing services and taxis are available but can be limited, especially in the evenings. If you prefer not to drive, there is also a local bus system, though routes and schedules may be less frequent.
