Enjoy the sound of the ocean waves, watching for sea turtles and whales, while admiring incredible sunsets & sunrises in this two-story, oceanfront condo. A beautiful corner unit, Kapaa retreat with a large lanai and built-in grill that overlooks the palms, mountains, and the ocean. Newly Remodeled Kitchen & flooring throughout. Take advantage of an exclusive gated community with access to a beautiful shared oceanfront pool. ALSO NOTE THERE IS A 10% LIMITED DISCOUNT IF STAYING 7+ DAYS!

This luxurious end unit condo is located in a prime location within walking distance to beaches, Wailua River, shops, grocery stores and restaurants with live music! You will love the large lanai and 23 foot high vaulted ceilings to let the sun and cool ocean breezes swim through the house. Feel free to open the floor to ceiling glass sliding windows in the living room that retract into the wall affording magnificent views of the ocean, pool, and coastline. Also note you will have access to two covered parking spaces. Weather is awesome but this does help in case it rains.

What's nearby:
This 2,200-square-foot condo is located in the oceanfront community of Wailua. It is less than 15 minutes from the airport and is close to shopping, restaurants, golf courses, and the island's new walking and biking path that follows the eastern shore for miles. You can walk two blocks to Wailua Beach or simply take a few steps out toward the pool to see the waves, hear the surf, and possibly catch a monk seal sunbathing. Guest can often see turtles outside & whales during whale season from the lanai. You can take a short walk to the Coconut Marketplace for shopping or watch a free hula show that takes place on Wednesdays at 5 pm and Saturdays at 1 pm. Kapaa is in an ideal location the island centrally located making it easy to get anywhere on the island.

Close to Everything...Street Burger is across the street with arguably the best burgers in town with a large craft beer selection. Also walk to Lava Lava that has nightly live music with outdoor beach seating. Trees is one of our favorites and right next to Lava Lava. Nightly Live Music there as well and more of a lively place with dancing many nights. Several other great places within walking distance including Coconut Marketplace.

Place is conveniently located within walking distance or biking of trails and shops/restruants. If traveling to other parts of the island you will want a car.

Very nice property! Check-in, Wi-Fi, and kitchen and beach play extras were a nice bonus. Recommend a good outdoor bbq grill burner cleaning or replacement as grilling was difficult with hot spots and uneven temps.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the condo .The view was superb and we could not ask for a better kitchen ( newly renovated and fully equipped ).The location also was ideal, a block to the Wailua river for kayaking, 1/2 a mile to the most beautiful bike trail in Hawaii .That said, the unit does need some updating especially in the guest bedroom.We have pointed out some details that could use some attention asap and the management has been very receptive .We will definitely recommend this unit if improvements are done to the guest bedroom.

Peace and Quiet

The house was great for our family of six (one toddler and one infant) and local visitors. We used the pool and the local beach access. Both were wonderful, but the beach was better. Communications with the managers were easy and responsive.The continuous sounds of the wind in the trees and the ocean’s waves were so very relaxing. We even spotted whales off in the distance on several occasions.

Great condo, beautiful view and location.

We loved this place, spacious for our group of 8, loved spending time on the large deck over coffee, beautiful sunrise every morning. The pool came in handy for the kids after a day at the beach. We all had a wonderful time and plan to go back.

Family vacation

The location is perfect! Beautiful views of the pool , beach and ocean from the lanai. There was a little tropical storm hanging out in the pacific while we were there and it was nice to go north, south, and to the Waimea Canyon with an easy drive. We walked to the Coconut Marketplace several times for food, shopping, farmers market and entertainment. Our only disappointment was a dirty and rusty grill, which the owner said he would address upon our departure. We’re a family of eight and made the sleeping arrangements work, but this was possible only because we had four kids with us.

This property was exactly as advertised. It was a great view of the ocean allowing you to be so close you could hear the waves. The property grounds were well taken care of. The lack of A/C was a little hard for us Texans but we were able to manage with the windows open the whole time we were there. It added a nice relaxing sound to our stay.

Beautiful balcony

We rented this place because of the balcony and separate sleeping spaces for our teens. The balcony is beautiful. Ate all our meals outside with views of the beach and ocean. The beach isn’t one to swim off of due to logs and large rocks in the ocean, but it’s pretty to look at. My son did fish from the beach with some luck. Close to other beaches, Waimea river for kayaking and fishing, and a bakery across the street sold fantastic Malasadas (Portuguese donuts). Very happy with our stay.

Good times

Our stay was memorable for the parents, kids and grandma. The kids loved gecko hunting and the pool. Grandma enjoyed watching the waves on the lanai and seeing the weather come through while enjoying the constant breeze. And there is nothing better than grilling with the sound of waves while being able to watch the kids swim. The condo is centrally located and made it easy to explore the island and chase the sun on beach days. Great condo, good times.

Friends/family took time to rest and reset for 2024

Six of us stayed in the lovely condo. We all loved the privacy of the grounds/property, the view, the pool, the private beach, the extra parking spaces and being within walking distance of many amenities and restaurants. The chickens were a bit of a surprise, but we adjusted to them and they weren't a problem. If only Henry (our local roster) would've slept later than 5am, we all would've been even happier.

Great property but it needs some improvements

This is the second time in 8 years we have stayed at this property. It is really well located in the middle of Kauai. Both ends of the island are only 30 minutes away. This property is geared for everyone. It is feet from the ocean for snorkeling, has an awesome pool for the whole family and is walking distance to food and shops. Also 2j is the only unit that has its own bbq which was amazing for us. My wife and our two adult children and spouses stayed here. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets on the patio. The only downsides we had were all of the mattresses need replacing. The unit is advertised as three bedroom but it is not. One “bedroom “ is a breakfast nook with a Murphy bed. Not a bedroom. It would be ok for small children but that is it. My two adult children both said their mattresses were way past due for replacing and actually caused back pain. The kitchen is well stocked and is ready for families that want to play at the beach all day and then cook and enjoy the complex all afternoon/evening. The grounds are awesome and if you want to surf fish Brayson the landscaper is your best friend and guide. We would definitely stay here again if the unit received some much need TLC like new beds, a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint

Family Christmas Getaway

What a great experience for our family… Our two adult children, their spouses, and our 22 month old granddaughter. The setting was amazing! We loved having both the pool and the beach for playtime and sitting on the lanai to just relax. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking and the Pack and Play for the baby.

Good spot, could use some improvements for the price

I'll start by saying this place has a lot of pluses. The sound of the ocean and the ocean views/decks are great. The space is open and nice for a group/our family. It has a nice pool right in front, it's a small condo building (much preferable to a big one), beach right in front, bakery across the street, good coffee shop nearby....a lot of pluses. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful, walkable to restaurants. Drivable to a great beach park. However, for the price, there are many things I would expect to be better and could be improved. It was very obvious when we got in that none of the floors of the kitchen/living/dining room were cleaned. Our feet felt gross and were dirty after walking around, which was unfortunate especially with a toddler roaming around. I did message the cleaner and she came right away to mop after I vacuumed the house, which we appreciated, but again for the price I expect more. The mattresses of both king beds were quite soft and uncomfortable. One family member moved to the Murphy bed because it was more comfortable. The fan upstairs was very confusing, had no instructions, and as the main source of cooling, took a few nights to figure out how to run and how to make it go the right direction. Once it worked it was great, but there needs to be clear instructions otherwise it's way too hot up there without AC. I think if several relatively minor things were improved I would stay there again.

Heavenly!

Conrad and Natasha's place is absolutely stunning. We had an amazing time and truly got to unwind and relax. The huge glass doors open up all the way and it's as if you have the entire Pacific Ocean in the living room! You get to enjoy the beautiful, tropical ocean from everywhere in the place, so you always feel like you're enjoying the ocean. The open doors let in the ocean breezes and keep the condo cool and fresh. The condo itself was very clean and fully stocked, it has everything you need to feel at home. Lots of beach towels, and bath towels, beach chairs, every kitchen item you could possibly need. Communication with Conrad was excellent. We look forward to staying again!
