„Spacious and clean “

„It has everything we needed: 1) 5 beds for 5 of us. 2) Working appliances / facilities (washer, air conditioner, sink, shower, bath, lights, fridge). 3) Large "under the bed" area to store suitcases. 4) Enough electrical outlet to charge our devices. 5) Clean and new. 6) Self checking, checkout, and elevator in building. 7) Area is not far from train stations, but it's also quiet and not noisy. I did not communicate with building manager / host -- but there was also no need to.“

„We had a very nice stay at Asakusa East House. The house was perfect for our group of 13 friends and family. Rooms, kitchens and baths were comfortable und well equiped. The neighborhood is lovely with a little bakery and a supermarket, a teashop and many restaurants. The communication with the host was nice and perfect. Looking forward to our next stay there!“

He used his many connections to get us discounts on watches, and informed us the cheapest way to buy train tickets, and amusement park tickets. If we come back to Tokyo, we will be staying here again.“

„Apartment is behind a bathroom, same building. Good thing is there is lots of space compared to other Japanese apartments. Furnishing are sparse, and apartment could be decorated better. Location is nice area, village with lots of small shop’s restaurants and local people. If owners had turned in AC before we arrived that would have helped our first impression, since when we arrived the apartment was super hot, and took hours to become comfortable.“

Cons: To start, the walk to the property is the furthest walk on the entire street practically only up hill walking. It is quite annoying to get anywhere if you want to leave the property. The laundry machine is broken and leaks everywhere, leading to badly washed clothes and a wet floor. The beds were wet before we entered the villa. We tried to sleep, but too moist to ...

The one we booked is having a sleeping room on third floor with a nice roof deck. On second floor there are bathroom, toilet, kitchen and a combined living room and bed room. It is a very typical japanese apartment. The house is located in Koiwa. The next train station is appr. 1,2 km away. It is the JB line (Chūō-Sōbu Line) ...
