We arrived late at this hotel to find zero parking in the small parking lot. I inquired about it at check in, where I was gruffly greeted by the hotel clerk which was dressed like a construction worker. He was smoking outside when we arrived and I assumed him to be a guest until he rushed in ahead of us to the desk.
I asked where I could park as there were no spaces available, except one but I would have boxed a big truck and trailer in if I parked there. He shrugged and said donāt park in the plaza next door or theyād tow me. I asked for where else and he said, āyouāll have to just go find a spot.ā I asked if I could get a refund if there was no parking spot as I canāt stay there for the night if thereās no room to park. He said, āI donāt know, Iām not a manager.ā I found a spot on the street thankfully and Mr. Couldnāt Be Bothered gruffly handed me my room key with muttering some words about breakfast and checkout so fast that I couldnāt understand.
The room had hairs everywhere. I plucked about 20 off the two beds. The fold out couch was terrible and just a box of springs with no padding. There were hairs all over the bathroom floor and counter as well.
It was disgusting but we were there at midnight and I didnāt assume the guy downstairs would help me with a new room. So we plucked hairs off and slept.
Itās a nicer/newer hotel, so itās a shame they have no ample parking and the cleaning crew doesnāt do a good job.
Breakfast staff was nice and attentive.
