Da wilderness holiday home is a 9 bedrooms home with an African touch, with enormous balconies for viewing the hills of Kampala, Lake Victoria, the Serena Golf Course & the beautiful gazing stars.

Da Wilderness holiday home ( oasis in the city) is ideal for groups, children and couples.

Da wilderness holiday home has spacious living rooms, dinning, kitchen, self contained bedrooms which open up with beautiful wooden windows and doors to the balconies overlooking the fresh fruit and vegetable gardens, relaxing grass gardens, view of the beautiful surrounding hills and the lake Victoria.

Da wilderness holiday home is decorated with many plants right from the parking yard with a ramp that makes it easier for people with disabilities to access the house and their designated bedroom specifically designed for them. Besides the many green plants, We have locally done art pieces that enhance the lush tropical feel of the true Pearl of Africa.

Kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking equipment, a tea boiler and a water dispensing machine.

Our large living rooms are traditionally decorated with complimentary TVs , African crafted chairs, cushions for lounging and chatting.

The doors and windows are fitted with nets to stop dust , mosquitoes, insects from accessing your rooms if kept closed and beds fitted with mosquitoes nets for night use.

For your outdoor warmth, we have great portable charcoal fire places. Please ask for them and they will be provided for your warmth and comfort.
We also have portable fans available in case it gets too hot.

This is our personal home so kindly treat it with care and the much love that was put in to. We also have 2 mountain bikes for anyone who might want to ride up & down the hills.

The holiday home is located about 10 minutes drive from Lubowa ( outskirts of Kampala) with access to grocery store, pharmacy, pizzeria and café. Easy access to the new highways, linking to Munyonyo spa & resort, Serena golf course, lake Victoria, the airport and Kampala city.

We have traditionally designed charcoal heaters for our guests for only outdoor use incase they want to enjoy a romantic date on a cold night outside. Also note that Uganda is a blessed tropical country. We have a washing machine to take care of any laundry needs if needed & also trusted laundry outlets where guests can have their clothes dropped for Laundry.

We have eco friendly water heaters in all our 9 self contained bedrooms that provide hot water for showers.

We have a conference room not attached to the house but with in the same compound for guests who might want to have meetings with different groups that do not reside at the home and accommodations at the same venue.

A private car is available for hire. A private masseur is available for booking and comes with own massage table at a reasonable fee.
Several trusted nannies used by our family can be contacted should you need an occasional baby sitter. Several trusted local taxi drivers who know our home location are ready to accommodate your travel needs.

Guest access
Our house is located through a small interesting village type setting, which gives a true rural feel, yet being close to the capital city, Entebbe airport, Munyonyo Martyrs catholic shrine, and many other amazing things to see. Da wilderness is located in a secured estate known as Lubowa hill view alkright estate about 10 minutes drive from Quality super market Lubowa, where there are a few restaurants, supermarkets, international school of Uganda and galaxy international school.

It is also about 15 minutes drive on the new highway to Speke resort munyonyo Commonwealth, gaba landing site. About 40minutes to Entebbe international airport
Other things to note
We humbly request our guests to treat the home with care and love that was put in.
Avoid pulling things on the floor, ask for help if you need to move something to avoid spoiling the wooden floor. Outdoor games should be done outside the house. We have several portable charcoal fire places that we use on balconies and in the gardens for warmth on cold days & nights for our guests, please ask for them when you need them. Maximum respect for other users is important. Leave the home as clean as you found it. We hold parties for only our guests.
