Stay in Comfort, Surrounded by Nature

Your luxury glamping retreat "Monte" is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable escape. Snuggle into the plush queen bed, enjoy a private bathroom with a hot shower, and make use of amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and wine glasses, ideal for savoring local wines. While the tents can get warm during the peak daylight hours in the summer, our AC units work effectively once the sun goes down to ensure a cold and comfortable temperature for sleeping at night.



Please note, it is prohibited to leave pets unattended inside the unit.



A Pet-Friendly Retreat

Your furry friends are welcome! To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pets must be leashed and not left unattended in the tent. A $50 penalty applies to undeclared pets, in addition to the standard pet fee.

Summer Heat Advisory

During the summer months, temperatures and heat indexes in the area can exceed 100°F (38°C), and Heat Advisories may be issued. If you're traveling with young children, older adults, are pregnant, or have heat-sensitive medical conditions, we encourage you to consider the forecast before your stay.

As this is an outdoor glamping experience, you may occasionally encounter insects or wildlife despite our regular cleaning and preventative measures.

Owners and close friends Duke, Mike, and Zach are passionate about producing great 100% Texas wine, vineyard tours, and hosting live music events in Texas Hill Country. Located 5 miles west of Johnson City, 12 Fires is a place for guests to learn, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors in style.

We’re open Friday – Sunday, 12 PM – 6 PM. If your stay falls outside these hours, reach out, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

If you're in the mood for a cultural and conservation experience, head to The Preserve, a nearby attraction that offers a chance to see wildlife and enjoy guided tours.

At the 1winery tasting room, indulge in our pizza and delicious charcuterie board, laden with a variety of meats, cheeses, nuts, crackers, and spreads. Pair your feast with a glass of our handcrafted wines, and don't forget to try our famous Martins Nutz (Glazed Pecans). For those looking to dine out, Johnson City boasts an array of dining options, from the casual comfort of Fat Boy Burgers and Home Town Donuts to the refined cuisine at 290 Locale Winery & Pizzeria and Proof and Cooper at the Lumberyard.
