  • Enjoy the best of both worlds with this peaceful and centrally-located cabin. This cabin sits beautifully on 6 acres of wooded surroundings. The property offers the comfort of having a peaceful getaway, while the convenience of being just a mile away to downtown Jim Thorpe. Whether you’re enjoying the shops, bars, or entertainment on Broadway, riding on one of the many bike trails, or swimming at Mauch Chunk Lake, you are sure to have a great time. This cabin was built by hand and has a modern flare on the interior. It is the perfect location for all your interests.

    The space at the cabin is cozy and rustic. The property is original and hand built with a newly renovated interior. There are two bedrooms, one with two queen beds and the second with two single beds. The cabin also has two full baths, a propane fireplace, and a great kitchen for your group to enjoy entertaining.

    The space is NOT pet friendly, and there are NO parties and NO smoking allowed. There is a maximum guest limit of 6 people. The age requirement to rent is 25 years old.

    Guest access is through the front door. The cabin is one floor with access to the basement area which has a full bath, washer/dryer, and some games for entertainment.

    We are available throughout your stay for any questions or concerns.

    The cabin has plenty of parking. It is centrally located with historic attractions, shopping, bars, and restaurants just 1.2 miles away in one direction. In the opposite direction, it is only approximately one mile to the Mauch Chunk Lake area.

    The cozy cabin is peaceful and serene with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open floor plan for the kitchen and living room area, and a basement with games for entertainment.

    The backyard oasis is yours to enjoy including a hot tub, sauna, pavilion, propane grill, outdoor fireplace, tables, and chairs.

    *Wifi is available at the cabin.
    *DoorDash, Instacart, and Uber are also available at this property.

    NO pets and NO smoking permitted.
    This house is pet free and smoke free. Must be 25 yrs or older to rent.
    No parties permitted. Quiet Hours 10 p.m.-7 a.m.

We really enjoyed our stay! It’s a beautiful cabin, we enjoyed coming back from a day full of activities to such a relaxing environment. The beds are a little hard, and sky lights hard to sleep with. O there than that, everything was excellent!

This cabin is full of amenities and is beautifully appointed. The indoor open floor plan is great for cooking, eating and relaxing. Both bathrooms are freshly renovated but to get to the one downstairs requires a trip down a steep staircase. The outdoor space is amazing! Beautiful clean hot tub, new sauna, covered pavilion with grill and picnic table, fire pit with chairs! Make sure you plan some outdoor time at the cabin. (No hooks for towels near the hot tub FYI) There is a washer/dryer available and some fun games in the basement. We would definitely come back here. The location is great. Mauch Chunk Lake park is just down the road and we had a nice 3 mile easy hike in woods and along the lake and dam. It’s about a 10 minute drive to downtown Jim Thorpe. Everything was clean and well maintained at this cozy cabin.

A charming cabin in the woods

The charming cabin is located in the prefect place that is secluded in the woods and close to Jim Thorpe’s main drag. The cabin is country and yet contemporary. Well stocked kitchen for your food prep and cooking. The beds extremely comfortable. And the best part is the gas fireplace with the recliner sofa in front of it. Nothing better than an after dinner drink watching TV in front of a warm fire. We plan on renting this place again.

We stayed at the Cozy Log Cabin in Jim Thorpe from August 21st–23rd and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The cabin is beautiful, peaceful, incredibly comfortable, and even better than we expected from the pictures. Everything was extremely clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. The amenities were phenomenal! We especially loved the hot tub and beautiful outdoor areas, and there were plenty of little touches throughout the cabin that made it feel like a home rather than just a rental. The wooded setting is peaceful and private, while still being close to downtown Jim Thorpe and everything the area has to offer. The hosts truly made our experience even better. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our stay. We were traveling with my son, who has special needs, and having such understanding and accommodating hosts, along with such a comfortable and peaceful place to stay, made this trip especially meaningful for our family. We left with wonderful memories and were already talking about coming back. A beautiful property, phenomenal amenities, and truly exceptional hosts. We could not recommend it more highly. Thank you for helping make our weekend such a special one! ❤️

Beach to the mountains

We were to go to the mts. of NC but hurricane Helene put a stop to that so we decided to visit Jim Thorpe but there were no accommodations that appealed to us. Never tried VRBO before but this cabin is just outside of the town. We absolutely loved it. The cabin has modern amenities but still has the cabin vibe. We highly recommend this place and its gracious hosts to anyone. 5 stars is not a high enough rating!!

Close to Jim Thorpe, Cute Cabin

This is a cute place just outside of Jim Thorpe with all the "cabin" decor you could find! The only disappointment for us was it was a gas fireplace, and we were hoping for the ambiance of a real fireplace. We couldn't do the outdoor fire pit because of fire restrictions, but it's nicely placed just out back and has swings and plenty of space for outdoor dinner, etc. There is a lovely lake with opportunities for sunsets and walking trails throughout the area. Jim Thorpe itself is cute, lots of great ops for food and drinks.
