Decent for the price - beds comfortable, clean enough, smelled fine, doors secure, a/c worked well, amenities included as described, except there was no Wi-Fi. The sign in the office advertising the Wi-Fi networks and passwords were those of the neighboring hotels, and we never did get any of the passwords to work in spite repeated trips to the office. The smoke detector in one room was missing. There was a stain on one of the blankets.

Everything very good except there was an odd half=dollar size hole in the top of the tub/shower underneath the tub spout which thus unavoidably gets at least splashes of water under the tub onto the flooring beneath. Not good for the foundation; can be self repaired with white construction adhesive sanded down. I would have thought the maid would have noticed and informed the office. I would have myself but I left very early and the office was not yet open.

Horrible stay
The cleaning of the room was terrible. There were dead bugs all over the place and in the tub. The deadbolt on the door didn’t work. The ceiling was cracked and peeling. We are planning another trip to Jewett and we won’t be staying at oYo again. Now I know why they have such cheap rates.

The facility is older, but clean and mostly maintained. First and foremost, it is clean, safe, and comfortable. The ice machine did not work. There was no hot water at the vanity sink. Breakfast was listed on the main sign, but not provided. The TV remote would not change the channels. The front desk was informed, but did not address.

Pictures are not what they are online
My husband, my daughter and her finance we tracing to Galveston for the week to visit family…. I decided to rent to rooms. I went onto hotels.com to look for rooms for the night. We had taken two separate cars to the hotel. My husband and I had gotten there first that evening. I checked is in around 9:42 pm. Got the room key to our room went upstairs to the room. When we stepped inside the room was like 100 degrees. It was hotter inside the. It was outside. That when my husband had noticed that there were holes in the walls , their bathroom had damaged inside…. The smoke detector was broken….. “fire hazard”. When my daughter and her fiancé arrived to the motel they went to to the front but they started giving her so much grief. I rented two rooms put both the rooms in our names…. She had decided to walk away from the hotel. She rather had sleep in the rental. The front desk should have given us a different room in the first place. The pictures online are not what they seem like…. My husband and I did stayS since we were both driving straight from Arlington Texas and it was too tired to look for another place to stay. So I’m saying after about two hours of letting our room cool down to go to bed and checking out around 6 am: this hotel is not going to get the greatest review. I should repot this better bureau department because the room was not up to code.

when we got there it took forever for someone to check us in, and then when we got to the room the room smelt musty. Water was yellow, beds weren’t the right size . and the fridge didn’t work. And two small pillows ok two beds jus didn’t suit us well.

Its just a room to clean up and sleep. It's said breakfast but has sign on door no breakfast, this has been posted the last 3 months. They need to update the web site to say no breakfast. The ice machine has been broken now for 2 months, because it was broken last month too.

Worst hotel ever
The front desk lady gave me a key to a room i didn't reserve, so i asked to get the one i reserved and she said she won't because their rooms are full. Finally she gave in and i realized almost none of the rooms were taken. Our hotel was full of cockroaches and was so hot for hours.

No breakfast available
There was supposed to be a breakfast no milk no bowls no customer service when I walk in up front no personal I came twice to check on breakfast was disappointed because the night before I asked if they had breakfast she said yes If they don’t want to serve breakfast do not advertise it I came at 7:00 then 7:30 for breakfast no luck

A place to stay the night
The room I was given during check in was the room I asked for but when got to the room the a/c didn’t work … I asked for another room and was given A different room with smaller beds .. at 7 am I had to ask the front desk about breakfast .. the door wasn’t open yet .. they opened the door and there was nothing for breakfast not even coffee ..

we have stayed here a few times and the first couple of times were great. last couple of times were horrible. previous stay had dead roaches all over the floor and management did nothing but apologize (we had our family and grandson with us)!. this last time, reserved a king and was told clean staff didnt show so we were given double beds for my husband and I. checked in and went to see family (had a loss in the family), returned to our room and couldn't get in exchanged cards twice and still wouldn't work. staff came over barefooted opened door and would not give us a card for room because it was the master. Went to room and found bed bugs in bed. We were switched to another room next door. we will not be back because of the service, cleanliness, accomodations, etc.
