IDEAL for snowmobiling with ample on site trailer parking and very close to large trailheads with truck/trailer parking and access to the groomed trails heading to Errol, Berlin, Jericho, Gorham, Pittsburg, etc.

Start the day by taking the family to the Waterwheel Breakfast and Gift House on Route 2. Take a short trip down the road to the Mt Starr King / Mt Waumbek trailhead off of Starr King Rd. Ten minutes away on Route 2 in Randolph you can park at the Appalachia Trailhead where an easy hike brings you to Gordon Falls and then continue up the trails for more falls. Also just down the road is the Pond of Safety, accessible only by 4 wheel drive. After a day of hiking, snowmobiling, or running after the kids at Santa’s Village, wind down by soaking in the hot tub while watching the sunset on Mt Washington or head to the Copper Pig Brewery just 14 minutes away in Lancaster.
