Sonora liegt weit außerhalb des Yosemite National Parks, man hat dort alles was man braucht. Ist allerdings auch im Ort auf das Auto angewiesen. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.

Wir hatten ein schönes renoviertes Zimmer. Leider mussten wir die Kinder noch zusätzlich bezahlen, obwohl man ja eigentlich pro Zimmer bezahlt. Personal war freundlich.

The standard reservation is up to two people in the room. If more people are not mentioned during the booking process or are added on, the front desk has to charge for those additional people. An der Unterkunft ist nichts auszusetzen. Das Zimmer war sauber und wurde vor kurzer Zeit renoviert. Walmart & Co. sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Leider ist für Babys derselbe Aufschlag wie für Erwachsene zu zahlen.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Motels wirklich zu empfehl
Wir waren dort nur eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp zu den Nationalparks und es war im Vergleich zu anderen wirklich gut. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, alles sauber und es gab sogar einen Balkon. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Günstiges Hotel zur Zwischenübernachtung
Etwas in dir Jahre gekommen. Für eine Nacht und den Preis ist es ok! Hatten es als Zwischenstation genutzt von SF zum Yosemite, dafür hatte es die perfekte Entfernung. Günstiges Frühstück im My Garden Cafe in Sonora, ca. 8 Min. Fahrzeit.

Kurze Aufenthalt auf Durchreise
Wir sind sehr spät angereist und waren auch früh wieder weg. Das Personal war allerdings sehr nett und das Zimmer sauber. Man braucht kein Luxus erwarten, das ist immerhin ein Hostel aber eine sehr freundliche Atmosphäre. Küche kann man verwenden, Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Für eine Nacht OK.
Einfaches, zweckmäßiges Motel. Ein Teil der Zimmer sind auf der von der Straße abgewandten Seite und daher recht ruhig. Kleiner Pool vorhanden. Das Motel liegt zwischen Sonora und Jamestown an der Straße. Für eine Nacht ausreichend. Frühstück ist sehr dürftig, auch für US Motel Standards.

Zweckmäßiges Motel-leider ohne Frühstück
Das etwas außerhalb von Jamestown gelegene Motel ist zweckmäßig ausgesattet und sauber. Leider hatten wir Pech, was die Freundlichkeit des Personals betraf. Rückfragen im Zusammenhang mit dem Check-in wurden sehr unfreundlich beantwortet (Wir hätten einfach nur geren gewußt, was wir da auf dem Pin-Pad gegenzeichnen.) und als wir eine Reklamation vorbrachten, wurde die Dame regelrecht ausfallend. Leider hat dies unseren ansonsten positiven Eindruck vom Motel stark getrübt.

Guter Zwischenstopp für Yosemite
Vor allem die Nähe zu Jamestown (alte Westernstadt) und Sonora (viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) sprechen für den Ort. Zimmer waren gut und gepflegt. Zum Yosemite (Valley) sind es aber gute 1,5 Stunden. Dafür passt Preis-Leistung sehr!

The room is clean, however, the shower curtain stinks so bad that it was hard to even pee without being disgusted. Requested to get it changed and for some towels the next day. We got the towels but the shower curtain was not changed. Had to go back to the front desk. We stayed for 4 nights, they changed the shower curtain but didn’t even bother to clear up the 2 tiny waste baskets or tidy up the bed. Towels and sheets needs to be replaced. Ana, the Asian lady at the front desk is great very apologetic and friendly.

It was a nice place. They put me on the 3rd floor with a small dog. it looked like they definitely were many lower rooms open. My dog would not go up the open stairs so I carried her up and down. I should have asked for the first floor, They should automatically put pets on lower levels if they can. That’s all.

Our suite had really thin walls, so our neighbor called the manager to tell them we were talking too loud. The manager threatened to kick us out for talking too loud. This was the only issue we had. The day manager was great. The night manager - not so great.

It is hands down the lady that works the front. She is amazing. My door dash came to office so she helped my daughter with a hand cart to take to the room. Super cool. Pups welcome and they love coming. Kids enjoyed the pool despite a little chilly.

Nice stay. The king suite with kitchenette was fairly large and our price deal was good. Plenty of hot water and heater and air conditioner worked good. Two tvs in the room and separate shower with massage head. The full size refrigerator lets you know when the door is still open which I thought was a nice touch. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only issue is the bed wasn't very comfortable. Kinda lumpy and some of the furniture is a little dated. Other than that I would recomend.
