Trotz Nähe zu einer großen Straße war es sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, die Einrichtung jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das WLAN funktionierte nur mäßig. Das Frühstück bestand lediglich aus süßen Gebäck und musste auf dem Zimmer verspeist werden.

I read comments of people complaining about the free breakfast and honestly, they had some dank chicken things that just needed to be microwaved. It wasn't a big selection to choose from but I wasn't complaining. The staff were very friendly and the room was pretty clean. I wouldn't complain especially for how much I paid.

There was a roach. Dead, but not even cleaned. Cigarette burns in the comforter and toilet seat. When the toilet didn't flush, my wife and i just left. I would rather pay for another hotel room than sleep at this place. It smelled like a musty retirement home. Would not recommend.

Its good enough for a nights rest. The area seems a but sketchy but I guess its just Jacksonville. All I cared about is that there were no bugs or roaches. For that I’ll give it a 5-star. For the rest of the property, it could use some remodeling, but at the same time this is no Holiday Inn so I’ll reiterate, if you just need a night to sleep and get on early the next day to resume travels, this is not bad. The rest of the other hotels in the main city were pretty bad, bugs everywhere. I’m glad Emerson Inn stood up to the reviews and there were none. Breakfast isn’t a breakfast. If you like carbs, processed meat and sugar, you’ll be the happiest. There were only packed snacks like a Twinkie, and a thawed to-go pita bread sandwich with some breaded chicken patty in it. So if that tickles your fancy, go get em tiger! I was with my 8 and 10 year old, they were happy with the TV channels. Bed and pillows were okay. The whole stay is below average to okay. For the price you pay, you get what you pay for. But no bugs! Winner!

I liked that the staff was very nice and helpful and that the Motel was located very close to lots of major stores and gas stations. I did not like that their handicapped rooms did not have bathroom doors. I prefer to shower and/or eliminate my waste in private with the door closed.

Discrepancy issues with it’s so called “Continental breakfast is included” end up to be the most basic things. No hot food unless microwaveable frozen sandwich counts. Witnessing a guest car got towed thanks to the good property manager. I thought I’ve seen and been the worst stat. This one is the next level.

Booked this last minute, wasn’t very expensive and they were very accommodating. The location is ideal for vacationing with no rental as it’s close to many stores/parks. Would definitely stay here again.
