Located approximately 1,000’ from our first cabin at Maco’s Mountain Resort with the same great views of the Appalachian Mountains. This cabin actually has an extra 64sqft and a extra twin bed in a second loft. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee with the Keurig or 12 cup coffee maker (Coffee not provided) and relax in the 6 person hottub admiring the beautiful night sky. This is the perfect place for a peaceful family getaway. WIFI is now available.

Amazing with wonderful views!
The cabin was clean and the bed was comfy. You got to enjoy the beautiful scenery while relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying your morning cup off coffee while sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck. The cabin was stocked with everything you might need. We will be back!

Cozy Cabin with Amazing Views
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend with my in-laws. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable. We loved waking up in the morning and sitting on the deck drinking our coffee taking in the gorgeous views. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

It was a great little cabin for our stay. It is a little further out from red river gorge area of that's what you're looking to do. But it is nice and secluded on top of a mountain with great views! Bring camping chairs if you want to use the firepit

Great Views and relaxing atmosphere
Property overlooks mountains and trees as far ad the eye can see. Extremely secluded which makes you feel safe and away from the chaos of the city. A great place to get away and unwind. Especially since you get the view from the hot tub, and a well put together firepit. Our second time staying here since we love it so much.

My husband and I stayed here with our two young daughters. The views are amazing!! The hot tub was great and we loved the fire pit. The owner was great to work with and very responsive, especially when we had some issues with wasps. I would definitely recommend this place to couples and small families!!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The cabin was quaint and comfortable. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. Made meals in the cabin, most kitchen utensils available, only request would be the cabin needs grilling utensils. We will definitely return again with our littles as they would love the loft areas. The house was so cozy and warm with stunning views. The hot tub was awesome and spacious!! The only critique...it would've been nice to have a washer and dryer just to be able to dry clothes and towels from the hot tub... but overall it was a wonderful and relaxing trip. A perfect getaway
Loved this location and the cabin! Although it was rainy and cloudy and we couldn’t see the stars, we had a lovely time. The location is secluded and there are 2 other cabins, but you wouldn’t know it. It was super cool being near the national weather service and we had quite the storm during our stay. We found Maco's place in 2019. Great set up that sits atop one of the highest places in Breathitt Co. Fly in if you're a pilot. His property adjoins the airport. Great family and set up for safety, privacy and gorgeous views. Its an annual trip for us.
