I was excited to stay there because it looked cozy! However, my experience started off bad from check in. I told the lady I had already did the online check in through Expedia and paid. It said that I should be able to pick up my keys and go. Well, she made me go through the whole process again. Plus, she said I had to give them $100 in cash for a deposit. I have given deposits before but it’s never had to be in cash. So that felt weird, but once we go to the room. I got an email saying I was charged again. I checked my bank account and I was charged twice for the room and it was different amounts. When I called about it, the lady said she would refund it but it would take 8-10 business days so between the cash deposit and being charged twice, I had almost $400 tied up. I went with this hotel because the price was affordable and ended up unable to use most of my spending money for the trip. Then, at check out, the lady had to check to make sure we cleaned our room completely (which we did!) before she would give us back the $100 cash. It felt like they were trying to find a reason to keep it, but they couldn’t. Also, we were on the 2nd floor and it feels like you are going to fall through the floor walking down the hallway.
