We are very disappointed to learn of the lack of salt, pepper and a kitchen sponge, as these are certainly standard amenities that we do our best to keep stocked for each new reservation. We apologize that this was overlooked, and would have been happy to replenish these items had we been made aware during your stay. We are also disappointed to hear that the interior of the unit did not meet expectations, and do appreciate your feedback regarding the furniture and carpeting. We take this feedback seriously, and have since ordered a new rug for the living room area, as well as a new kitchen table. We are in the process of ordering a new set of chairs for the living room area as well, to enhance the overall interior and future guest experiences. Hi John, We are terribly sorry to hear that you had a one star stay at Alpine Cottage Studio. We apologize for any confusion caused, as our team did leave you a voicemail explaining the latest developments with the air conditioning, on which we never heard back from you. As soon as you let us know the home wasn't getting as cool as desired, we sent our maintenance manager to take a look, and he changed the filters and indicated that we should hire a technician to take a second look. We were fortunate to be able to schedule a last minute appointment with a technician, who told us he was able to get the air conditioning fully functioning again, which we relayed to you over voicemail. We haven't had any air conditioning complaints since, so we do believe the problem was resolved during your stay, but we are terribly sorry to hear that you never received your voicemail and that this left you with a one star impression of your stay.
