This property was very nice overall but could use a few upgrades.
The good:
- We went there to ski, and it was just a very short walk from the condo to the ski lift. Note that you need to take two "feeder" lifts before you get to the base village to the main lifts that take you up the mountain. So, If you want to be first in line for the main lifts, you'll need to take the shuttle over -- which is also very conveniently located.
- Loved the western, Indian, and nature themed decorations.
- The fireplace was wonderful. The condo complex provided firewood which was a nice surprise. (It ran out quickly, but I wasn't expecting it in the first place.)
- The management company was very helpful and friendly. We called with a couple questions, and they were great.
The mediocre:
- Everything was clean & comfortable, but it's not what I would consider luxurious accommodations.
- "Fit and finish" were a bit lacking, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bathrooms.
- Climate controls were outdated. We found it difficult to get the condo and various rooms to the right temperature and keep it there with the baseboard heaters.
The bad:
- The Wifi kept going our and required resets multiple times per day. We never called this in because we didn't want to deal with people trying to fix tech issues while there. But this is a fundamental "utility" that I expect to work well without any effort.
- The listing online mentioned the use of a nearby facility for pool and hot tubs. We looked for info in the property manual one day after skiing and only found mention of a temporary membership to a club that we could purchase at extra cost. We also didn't call about this because it wasn't a priority, but I felt let down by not having easy access to hot tubs after skiing.
The bottom line is that I would stay there again and would recommend this property to others. Good but not great.
