Beautiful view

The view was beautiful. We are from Washington state so we knew nothing about the area. I wish there had been some menus for local places or some info on what to do in the area. Also we had to buy everything, there were no beach towels or chairs. Not even one or two pods for laundry. We had to go to the store right away after a long travel day. We were only there a few days so we didn’t want to go through the hassle of renting a bunch of stuff.

The home is clean and well-furnished with direct access to a very well-maintained path to the beach. We made great use of the outdoor shower and the ample seating both indoor and outdoor. The washer and dryer capacity were perfect for our family and the bedrooms very comfy and quiet. We even fit in a couple games of tennis during our stay in the community court and really loved that extra feature!

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with fantastic beach access. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The house and decks provide beautiful ocean views. Island Realty was very quick to respond (within an hour) when we found that the propane tank for the gas grill need to be replaced. The whole family had a wonderful vacation!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the view was fantastic. The property could use some updating. It was a bit dirty when we arrived. The upstairs bedroom had a door that went out onto a porch was stuck closed. We called the maintenance dept and was told that it would be fixed that day. It was not, we had to call again and the following day they arrived. However once they unstuck the door, it would not now stay closed. As a result during a normal SC thunderstorm the door blew open (while we were out) and the bedroom carpet and bed was soaked. This lead to a very damp and musty environment upstairs and our clothes also became musty and damp. We called maintenance again and they came back and closed the door so it could not open. As a result we had to change our sleeping arrangements and we could not use the upstairs bedroom.
