Nestled in the most historic part of town, this original Victorian historic camp meeting stands today as one of the only original camp meeting cottages left in Island Heights with very few architectural modifications. Walkable to river and bay beach, quiet family-friendly setting.

Restored to its former glory, this two-story, 900 square ft cottage, has new and modern upgrades, but retains all of its original charm. Including original pine floors, stained-glass windows, board and batten siding, and original staircase. Enjoy the river breezes from the the wrap-around porch, take a walk down to the promenade to watch the sailboats go by and see our famous Island Heights sunsets. Across the street, is the historic camp meeting grounds, which is now a park with a pavilion, perfect for playing a game of frisbee, a picnic or watching the sailboats go by.

THE SPACE:

The vaulted kitchen includes all stainless steel appliances: microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, Keurig, tea kettle, and plenty of cooking utensils for a night in.

There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom includes a queen-size bed with a larger bi-fold closet and a TV.

The second bedroom features a full-size bed, dresser and a closet.

The bathroom (downstairs) features a 1940’s style bathtub/shower, with black and white retro-tile.

We also offer Netflix and Amazon Prime!

We provide clean towels and sheets so you don't need to bring any :)

NOTE: this property does NOT have Cable TV. We have Smart TVs (Fire TV), Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix.

This property is not handicap accessible and includes the original "steepish" stairway to the second floor, which those with reduced mobility and the elderly may find challenging.

Parking is available on the street in front of the house free of charge. Most properties on this street do not have driveways.
Guest access
The entire cottage and side yard is available for use. The garage under the house will be locked for owner use and storage.
