In a fair and honest review, I would have to say while the house seemed nice, it lacked some basic expectations and led to a disappointing stay. (Non-working TV in main room, insufficient bath linens, kitchen ice maker not working, not enough dishware/silverware for the number of guests, broken deck chair etc.) We were happy to make other accommodations for these. However, the “mystery bug bites” that appeared on two of the adult family members after sleeping in the beds we could not overlook. Host was notified. He had an inspection done after he had the house cleaned. We were informed days later no bed bugs were found.

Great place for extended family stay and IU graduation

Our entire family joins me in praising this home. We flew to Indiana from three locations to see a graduation from Indiana University in Bloomington. There are almost no hotels anywhere Bloomington. We were resigned to staying in three hotel rooms in Indy when we found this home. Both this home and Indy are about 70 minutes from the campus.This place has lots of space for our big family, Clean, modern, super quiet. Great condition. Comfy beds. Fully equipped kitchen.One of the owners is an artist and it showed, with many tasteful paintings.The kiddie play set in back was popular with the 6 and 9 year old. Restaurants and commercial services are nearby. The host was very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Very Spacious, exceeded our expectations!!

We booked our stay somewhat last minute for a conference, not knowing what to expect. When we arrived, we were all pleasantly surprised at what we found in our home for the week. The house is huge with lots of sleeping spaces and common areas for lounging. The downstairs amenities were a huge plus for our group to relax and recover from long days downtown networking. Communicating with Mike was easy and convenient, and the check-in/out process was by far the easiest I have ever had. We have consistently stayed downtown for conferences, but staying a short drive out has proven to be a win/win for us. Lots of local dining options and things to do close by, and much more cost-effective than downtown lodging. We will definitely consider this house again in the future.

What an amazing place!!

We rented this fabulous property to attend our nephew's wedding reception. We had a large group traveling in from multiple cities/states. Check-in was seamless and communication with the owner was quick and efficient. The beds were comfortable and the place was very roomy. One of the places the group enjoyed the most was the basement. We shared so many laughs and we had plenty of space for everyone. We cooked our meals in the kitchen and had the items needed to prepare/serve. We would highly recommend this place for anyone, but it does accommodate a large group. If we're back in the area, we would stay here again. Thanks for opening your beautiful home, we truly enjoyed the stay!

Wonderful property!

Everything was seamless, from our check in until we walked out and locked the door. It was a cousin’s weekend. The house was very nicely furnished. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount, and quality of the amenities. Wow! Not only did they have a Keurig, but a variety of coffee (leaded and unleaded), tea, cocoa, apple cider, creamer, etc. They had a Ninja Blender (we didn’t use it), nice pans, utensils and even some extra pantry items. I was a few tablespoons short on flour making biscuits and gravy one morning, and they had it. The kids had a ball playing with the giant connect four, foosball, and the play equipment outside. We could watch a variety of movies, either upstairs with a wonderfully huge sectional, or downstairs in the theater room. We ate, laughed, sprawled out, played cards for hours and just enjoyed our time together. We had to contact Mike a couple of times with some questions, and he was very quick to respond. There were 12 of us (10 adults and 2 kids) and we had plenty of room. We would not hesitate for a minute to stay here again, or recommend it. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We loved it!

Spectacular Place!!

Pictures do not do this house justice. It was incredibly clean, very organized and well stocked. We loved staying there as a family, it provided a great place for us to gather together. Great location and area!

Close to Indy + Avon is a town with lots of food choices. We were in town for the Colts game and getting to and from the stadium was great. The house is perfect with plenty of space to hang out but room for everyone to have peace and quiet, too. The host was always quick to respond and helpful!
