Your stay at Black Mountain entitles you to full, private access to the cabin and all its amenities during your visit. You can also enjoy shared access to the expansive 1-acre Wyldwood Park below the property, which includes outdoor dining, hammocks, and access to Strawberry Creek.

As you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a spacious living area with a cozy stove and smart TV for lazy evenings.

You’ll find a comfortable king-size bed waiting to lull you into a peaceful sleep. Imagine waking up to the soft chirping of birds – it’s pure magic.

When hunger strikes, the open-concept kitchen with a trendy Smeg fridge is ready for action. It has everything you need to whip up your favorite meals. And meal times become a cozy, intimate affair with the counter seating for two.

Play a vinyl record from our curated collection, cozy up on the leather couch, and turn on the gas stove for a peaceful evening.

Your personal spa awaits in the bathroom, with floor-to-ceiling teal tiles that add a refreshing pop of color. It’s the perfect place to refresh and clean up after a day of mountain hikes or exploring Idyllwild.

A true highlight is the private deck. Here, you can soak in your hot tub while enjoying the calming sights and sounds of Strawberry Creek and the surrounding forest. Whether starting your day with a hot cup of coffee or ending it with a glass of wine, this spot is perfection.

The views from here are stunning—like having nature’s best artwork on display.

Access to the shared Wyldwood Park below the cabin is part of your stay. With Strawberry Creek running through it, you can practice yoga, enjoy a picnic, or experience breathwork among the pine trees. Please note: Idyllwild is under a fire ban, so our fire pit is not available right now. Apologies, and thanks for helping keep our forests safe!
