With stunning lake & mountain views, our serene 3BR/2BA retreat is just an hour from Denver and features a gourmet kitchen, and cozy spaces. Outdoor fun includes fishing, hiking, and winter activities. Relax with cornhole, board games, and an infrared sauna. Eat on the deck, stargaze in the hot tub, and unwind in comfort with high-speed internet. Ideal for families and groups!

The Space:
Step into 5-star comfort and convenience the minute you walk in the door. Our open-concept cabin boasts a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, from basic spices to advanced cooking tools, ensuring your culinary creations can come to life during your stay. Gather around the dining table overlooking the lake for meals and games, or unwind on the couch with a book (plenty here) or movie. The main floor features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, offering lake views that make waking up a joy. Walk outside to have your coffee on the deck looking over the lake. Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms, both with lake views, with queen-sized beds and a loft area perfect for kids or a quiet retreat. So that the adults can hang out downstairs and do adult things.

Outdoor Adventure and Activities

St Mary's Lake Cabin is your gateway to outdoor adventures. In spring, summer, and fall, enjoy fishing on our private lakes with supplied a canoe and kayak and fishing gear, or hike the nearby St. Mary’s Glacier trail. Visit the nearby Virginia Canyon Mountain Park. Even some 4x4 roads nearby. Winter transforms the landscape into an adventure perfect for snowshoeing and sledding. Onsite, indulge in a variety of activities including cornhole, board games, and relaxing in the infrared sauna to revitalize those muscles after a day of fun. And end your night stargazing and looking at the beautiful mountain scenery.

Unmatched Comfort and Amenities

Enjoy the extras like fans, humidifiers, space heaters, extra blankets, and robes. The cabin is always impeccably clean, with ample towels and toiletries. High-speed internet ensures you stay connected, but we strongly (like really) encourage you to disconnect from life, why else are we here right?

There are spontaneous power outages due to location. These are typically brief and restored quickly. But hey you are here to disconnect so these shouldn’t impact your stay. Please communicate any concerns that you might have with any brief outage before your stay. Heat will always be available even without power.

Guest Access:
Parking is plentiful, with space for up to 4 vehicles. Please note, 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended year round and required October-May. Due to winter driving conditions we are not able to offer refunds for mother nature's plans.

Getting Around:
4WD vehicles are strongly recommended YEAR ROUND due to our winter driving conditions. The drive includes a handful of sharp hairpin turns, so please drive with care. Otherwise, your travel mates may get sick on you. We're here to serve and ensure you make lasting memories for years to come, and come back. If you need extra attention ahead of your stay, please let us know.

Other Things to Note:
* Given our elevation (10,335 ft), we advise guests to hydrate well before (like a week or more) and during their stay to acclimate comfortably.
* During the summer months, we will leave the kayaks and canoes lakeside for you. Please make sure they're fully out of the water when not in use!
