Schönes Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Sehr gut gelegen. Selbst zum Strand lässt sich zu Fuss gehen. Die Zimmer wie auch die Umgebung sehr sauber. Einrichtungen gut. Schade hat man uns das hinterste Zimmer gegeben, ohne Aussensitzplatz obwohl wir Wochen im Voraus gebucht hatten. Zimmerservice muss man anmelden, ansonsten wird nichts gemacht. Das muss man auch mal zuerst verstehen. Hotel ist teuer, im Vergleich zu anderen aber im Schnitt. Ansonsten alles gut, offenbar hatten wir einfach Pech gehabt

Hi Karin, We are so disappointed to see such a negative review. Especially because you did not get the chance to stay with us here at the Hyannis Inn. We are sorry you were not able to keep your reservation with us. Guests have the choice to booked the cheaper non-refundable deals, or often a slightly higher priced options offering Free Cancellation up until a specific time and date before arrival. Which is fully explained on the website you booked through. It is then up to the guest to weigh the pros and cons of all options provided and make a personal choice. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience.

Nachdem wir vorher auf unserer Reise nur enttäuscht wurden, war das Hyannis Inn der absolute Lichtblick. Die gesamte Anlage ist in einem Top-Zustand, für amerikanische Verhältnisse ist es ein absolutes Schnäppchen. Alles ist mit "Liebe" geführt. Die Zimmer, das Schwimmbad, die Dekorationen und der Frühstücksraum, überall fühlt man sich wohl. Daran sollte sich der Rest Amerikas ein Beispiel nehmen!!!

Nice place but has issues
The pool and ice machine were locked up at 5:00pm on new years weekend. There was no security…homeless guy knocking on door at 2:00 in the morning. Electricity went out when hairdryer was used. The couple next door had no heat…and no one in the office to help.

Yes, our winter seasonal hours for the front desk and pool are 9am-5pm, this information is forwarded to every guest through their reservation prior to check in, which is how guests can correspond with us too. Unfortunately, there was no security as we do not have any for this property. No one alerted us that they had no heat, engineering would've assisted them and would've assisted with the outage of the electricity. Although the desk is closed there is a Manager on Duty daily, the information is posted on the front door of the reception area every day for anyone who has questions/concerns. Hopefully you can give us another chance in the future.

Everything was very good, clean, and the property was easy to find. My only concern was some loud partiers outside that kept me awake. Since there was no front desk service after 5 pm I didn't think there was anyone to contact about it. Another night it might have been quiet. Everything was fine.

The hotel was clean and convenient, however the front desk closed at 5:00pm, and we arrived later than that. They did message and call to remind us of the office closing, however it was very difficult to reach them back and figure out what we had to do. Text & e-mail communication was Extraordinaire! The front desk very welcoming and while the toilet seat would not stay up and the black out drapes had a 2inch gap in the center of the windows and the mini fridge was plugged in but didn't really seem to have cold air / working, there was no need to mention it to the front desk. This Thanksgiving weekend stay here truly provided a feeling of a "hotel like home"!. Will book again directly and IF any issues with the room, we know the front desk will gladly attend to any needs.

This place is perfect for a weekend getaway for 2! Location is fantastic! Well maintained for an obviously older place in Hyannis. Staff was fantastic, everyone of them helpful and pleasant. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was there was no ventilation in the bathroom, and things got pretty hot and sticky during and after showers. Luckily, since it is October, we could open the door and let some cooler air in. Overall, our stay was extremely enjoyable there!

This is an older facility that has done a nice job of updating as much as possible. It is, in general, very clean. One nice touch was a table with two comfortable chairs for sitting rather than having to sit on the bed. Our overall experience for a long stay was very good. The only drawback was that so many areas were impacted by obvious difficulties with staffing. They did a nice job.

Had 2 room for 3 nts. Beds comfortable. Room was dirty, with mold in the bathroom. One room had a plugged plugged drain inthe tub. Asked for help with no resolve. Called to front desk with no answer but could see her sitting there from my room window. Floors were so dirty we had to throw away our socks! Pleasant experience
Front desk staff were pleasant and check in process was fast. Only stayed one night but hotel is in walking distance from restaurants and shops on Main Street which was a plus. The only complaint was the bed was not comfortable and the pillows could have been better. Overally would stay again.
