Beds were so soft, everything was very clean, only downfalls were no breakfast due to covid and other people inconsiderate and parking in multiple spots in a limited parking area.

Nice and clean
The hotel is very clean and the owners are very nice. Right off the highway but very quiet. We would stay there again.

I wasn't expecting much but was very surprised and would recommend The Barnwood to others. The people were nice and helpful. The room had more than I expected. We rarely travel, so this being away from a large city I felt was very nice. My only dislike was the cost for one night and out very early. But we haven't travelled for a very long time.

Relaxing atmosphere
Staff and atmosphere were perfect for us to relax and regroup. If we ever go back to the area, Barnwood Inn is a must. Thank you for the hospitality!

Very friendly staff! Very clean rooms! Would stay again! It is a little ways to drive to get something to eat but it is okay because I really liked this place.

Great quiet hotel
Loved everything about the Inn. Room was Spotless, relaxing, and totally quiet and peaceful. Staff was helpful, and sent me a text as soon as they noticed I left a bag behind. Just a block of the highway and away from traffic. Would stay there and recommend it to anyone in the area.

Stayed here due to location (We were looking at land nearby) and high ratings from previous reviews. Was slightly skeptical but it lived up to its billing! Owners have done a remarkable job with updating/upkeep on the hotel. The room was clean, Bed was incredibly comfortable! The owner commented when I was carrying our pillows in with us that we wouldn't need those. He was right!! Bottom line: We would travel back here just to stay with them!!

Absolute diamond in the rough! By far the best of the best we have stayed in for a long time. Extremely clean, cute decor, beds were extra comfy, and Thia was an incredible host! Wish all places were this great! Thank you for a great stay! A+++

Very comfy and clean.
The Barnwood is more like a motel than I expected, as all rooms were on one level although actual entrances were not on the street. It's in the middle of no where but easy to find. The service was efficient and friendly, the room was very clean, the beds and pillows incredibly soft. The room wasn't big but had everything we needed. The breakfast wasn't truly hot (there were items one could heat up), but all items offered were quality name brands and delicious. Overall, while not glamorous, the hotel gave us a peaceful night's stay and I'm sure we will stay there again.

Very nice place
My wife and I stayed here. It was the cleanest Inn we have ever stayed at. The front desk lady was so nice and stay up for us because we came in late. Loved it!!

So cute!
We were passing through and stayed one night since we couldn't make it all the way to Springfield. It is really clean and quaint, friendly feel. Nice stop in the middle if you get tired - would definitely stay again!
