HIlton Garden Inn Hobby Airport is literally across the street from the back of the airport, so transfer is SIMPLE. Room neat and tidy. Front desk staff very accommodating. DID have to pay additional fee for checking in early (before noon, but not too much before, and the hotel was not full). Pool area was clean. Could not hear airplane noise from our room on the back side of the hotel. Overall, nice stay; no major issues or complaints!

The beds were really uncomfortable, the pillows were extremely flat, the sheets used barely fit the bed. The a/c window unit made a lot of noise and sounded like it was leaking.

Charging stations were broken, the working ones were running at a low level, my entire trip was delayed due to this. I specifically spent twice the amount on a hotel for one night because of the chargers- I could have stayed down the street for half the cost and ended up paying more as I had to still bisit a super charger even after charging for 10 hours

I specifically chose this location because of EV CHARGING. the one that I could have used was broken causing me to have anxiety trying to find a location to charge, even though I had already planned this. The front desk didn’t even know. The front desk put an authorization on my card before arrival even though I said I’ll pay when I get there. The a/c device on the wall was not working and I had to manually turn the a/c on. I will not be staying here again. Just too much inconvenience.

Good choice for airport convenience
It was mostly great. Breakfast buffet could’ve been better since it wasn’t free. Only hot item was oatmeal. They accommodated us anyway!! Few shower items empty. Front desk great! Waitress great! Shuttle driver very prompt & nice.

overall it was a decent stay. close to airport and 45 for easy access to area dining and shopping. room was clean etc but there were a few issues. first, housekeeping showed up at 845 for cleaning. we were not up as this was a family trip, not business. they were supposed to come back. they did not because unfortunately power went out at 4pm. power remained out until 4am. 12 hours without power. when power was resumed at 4am, the water then went out. water did not come back on again until 11am. so another 7 hours with no water. no toilet, no drinking, no showering. when contacting the front desk to ask if stays were extended for late check out they said maybe 30 min. we didn't have rags due to the previous power outage so there were no monkey baths to be had before checkout and our flight which was at 8pm. luckily housekeeping had extra bottles of water for us to at least brush teeth and wash faces. i know this situation was out of their hands but could have possibly been handled better. checked in on a weekend shift and dayshift check in girl was not friendly at all. night shift guy was super nice. gentlemen on monday am were also nice but on tuesday they didn't seem to know how to handle the predicament. rooms were clean but could really use a fan in the bathroom for humidity. papers in the room were damp from moisture in room after 3 people showered.

GREAT for families and airport transfer
Check in was a breeze. Room was very clean. Hotel was clean. Beds were soft. Couldn't hear neighbors. Best part = 24/7 shuttle service!!! We woke up and had to leave at 4am - it was quick check out and the shuttle guy got us there quickly and safely! Def. recommend!

The stay was actually good...until I went to grab a tissue from the box and pulled out a wad of used tissues. I mentioned it to the front desk and housekeeping manager...and showed them a picture of tissues. There was no further action taken except a reprimand for the housekeeper responsible for an unfortunate oversight.

Expedia never noticed us that our reservation from 2 weeks was cancelled on the night of arrival. So we showed up midnight and there was no room. Hotel staff was very helpful to try to relocated and after 30 minute search they found us a local lower end place… Garden Inn is a great place with a great staff… but Expedia dropped a ball ⚽️ fortunately…
