„This was an absolute rip-off! Place was a total slum for poor Hondurans. Shabby, in disrepair, and filthy. There was no one around to check me in. After waiting 2 hours, I hailed a taxi and found a cheap clean hotel close to the airport. And shame on you Expedia for not vetting out these places. “

„Einfach super! Tolle Lage direkt am Meer. In 100 Meter ist man zu den Korallen geschnorchelt. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, gemütlich und großzügig eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr hilfsbereit!“

„Meine Frau und ich haben 5 Nächte im "Puerta Azul " verbracht. Wir haben Ruhe und Entspannung, Weg vom Rummel der Großen Hotels gesucht und gefunden. Unser Bungalow lag direkt am Strand und hatte eine kleine Veranda. Schön um bei Regen den Strand und das Meer zu beobachten. Vom Ende des Bootssteg (etwa 100-150 m lang) konnte man wunderschön im kristallklaren Wasser schwimmen und Nachts den fantastischen Sternenhimmel beobachten. „I traveled with my two teenagers and they loved the lodge they liked the feeding the animals too. I appreciated the free breakfast and the quick walk to the beach. Celeste, the owner was amazing and Lorelei at the front office also! Super helpful and helped me with horseback riding for my daughter and charter fishing for my son. Cannot recommend West Bay Lodge enough! We are going back next year too!“
