About "Big Cedar" Bungalow / 216-A Cedar Street

Big Cedar was built circa 1900 and is nestled in the heart of Hot Springs, AR. It's just a short stroll away from the iconic Bathhouse Row, where you can unwind and soak in the natural healing waters. For adventure seekers, the mountain biking trailhead is only 0.7 miles away, offering thrilling trails and beautiful scenery. “Big Cedar” is the most spacious of the four newly-renovated private living spaces on the Cedar Street Bungalows property. Your private entrance is through the historic home’s main front door, with private front porch, where you can rest in the rocking chairs and imagine another time in Hot Springs when this lovely home was built in 1900. At 1,200 square feet, this bungalow is noticeably roomy and uncrowded, yet it also feels cozy and comfortable. It is also perhaps a bit quirky, with a nod to whimsy – there is a working vintage Pac-Man game neatly placed in the living area.

Features a generous living room, a central dining room with seating for four, full kitchen, full bath, master bedroom with king bed, and an en-suite separate daybed and desk. The living room includes a pull-out sofa for extra guests.

This is the main house that has a separate Airbnb bungalow rental accessed on the side of the structure. The two bungalows are separated by a wall with no interior access between them. The property’s other two Airbnb bungalow rentals are next door in a duplex.

Kitchen: Well equipped with refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and fully stocked with cookware, dishware, cups, glasses, and utensils. All linens and towels provided.

Sleeping: One king bed, one daybed, and one pull-out sofa.

General: High-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen Roku TV with Sling TV in the living room, can stream own Netflix/Amazon, and exterior security cameras. The bungalow is heated/cooled by three brand new mini-split units with temperatures controlled by the guests. On-demand gas water heater so you never run out of hot water.

Parking: Free street parking in front is most convenient for Big Cedar, otherwise there is free parking in the driveway towards the back.

Special Amenities: Keys are provided for the Mountain Bike Barn for bike storage, and to the Laundry Room with two washing machines and two dryers. Please message us on the Airbnb portal if either of these amenities will be accessed. There is also a gas grill and outdoor picnic table on site. Special amenities are free to guests. (Note: the Bike Barn was recently created by demand. It’s functional but still a work in progress as we fix it up!)

Special Service: We offer a “Surprise & Delight” Romance Package for a small fee for arriving guests. Please message us on the Airbnb portal for details.

Designed to sleep one or two adult guests comfortably (limit 4 guests total).

We are pet friendly with a $50 pet fee for extra housekeeping. There is a small, fenced area accessed through the kitchen that is private to this bungalow. Please pick up and dispose of pet waste, if housekeeping has to do it for you there will be an additional $25 fee. We provide waste bags for your convenience. Thank you!

Guests have access to the entire unit exclusively and shared access to the laundry and patio.

We do not live on the property but are available if needed.

Free shuttle Friday through Sunday to from downtown to Oaklawn Casino and Resort!

There is a small, private and secure dog run off of the kitchen so you can let your "furkids" out without a leash. We do ask that you clean up any pet waste and provide bags in case you forgot yours. Thanks!
