Children's Playground

Recommended age limit for the outdoor playground is 3 - 12. Please exercise caution and parental supervision is recommended at all times. Children over 11 are not to use the playground or risk damaging it.

Fire Safety

Guests choosing to use wood-burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit (wood NOT provided) must exercise good judgement and responsible use. Do NOT leave fires unattended.

Water Safety

Guests should use caution when in or around the streams. Adult supervision is recommended at ALL times when in or around the water.

Bugs and Critters

"The Hopkins Hideaway" is a house on a large wooded property and although we have a pest control service that sprays quarterly, it is entirely possible you will see some type of bugs both inside and outside. Leaving the doors closed behind you will prevent some and so will placing trash in the trash cans where it belongs.
