Overall Okay, But Value for Money Falls Short
The hotel was overall okay, with some definite positives. The location is great, offering plenty of dining options within easy reach. The swimming pool is a good size, and the room itself was decent.
However, I left feeling that the pricing doesn't align with the value provided. The "free breakfast" is a prime example of this. It's essentially a hoax; they should really call it "free 1 item and 1 juice." We went to the on-site Monkeypod restaurant expecting a proper breakfast, but were only allowed to pick one item from a limited list of five options, along with a very small cup of juice. For kids, the choices were even more restrictive, with only three options to choose from. This is pretty pathetic for something advertised as "free breakfast." We were so disappointed that we didn't even bother using the remaining four days of our "free breakfast" passes and opted to eat out instead.
Another minor but frustrating point was the lack of complimentary water in the room upon arrival. We immediately had to go downstairs to fill or purchase water, which felt inconvenient after traveling. And of course, the $60 per day parking fee is another significant added cost that just doesn't feel worth it.
Overall, I'm not sure I would choose this hotel again for my next visit unless some significant changes are made to the value proposition, particularly regarding the breakfa
