Highlights: great views of whales, responsive managment, clean!Considerations: walk-up 2 stories, some road noise (ok with earplugs)The grounds were well maintained and the interior was nicely remodeled. The views across to Lanai and Molokai were excellent. Since it was Humpback whale season, the highlight was watching them from the balcony. As others noted, turtles are often feeding around the rocky reef just offshore and really fun to watch.The condo was quite clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, with an induction cooktop, oven, pans, tools. I especially want to compliment the responsiveness of the management company when I asked them about a worn-out non-stick pan and faulty toaster. They were pleasant and had replacements to me within a few hours!The design of the unit includes louvers that open on both east and west, so you can get wonderful breeze through the unit. (This also lets in some dust, but there are brooms and dustpans and the smooth tile floor is very easy to keep clean.) Even with it open all day, the A/C was strong enough to get it cool for pleasant sleep. Beds were comfortable.Other practicalities: - Laundry is on the property (not in unit), clean, and can be paid for with an app.- The pool is small but clean and pleasant.- The unit is a 3rd floor walkup, king brm upstairs.- Parking was easy.- Shopping is nearby. Instacart can delivery within an hour.- Some road noise at night, esp lower bedroom (twins).
