Our room was not the cleanest and the bathroom and tub had not been clean. I’m just not confident the hotel is kept clean regularly. I did like being located in area with access for food.

Stop along the way
I was having a great road trip traveling all over the South, unfortunately I caught a cold just after New Years Day 2024 and needed to stop. By coincidence I landed at the Quality Inn at Holly Springs South, Mississippi. Instead of spending just one night I ended up two night and three days due to the cold. The accommodation and manager were perfect. He even check on me to make sure I was okay. Next time I stay just because it a nice play to stay.

We picked this property from using it 5 years ago. It has been 5 years. A lot has changed around it in 5 years. The property owner was on site this morning. He was very likable and pleasant. The hotel is next to a Love's stop. We didn't have any issues with noises or people.

Not the best stay
The price was right - especially since we were in the middle of nowhere. Our GPS sent us on a detour due to traffic in Memphis, so it took us south. The desk clerk was nice, and helpful, so she gets 5*, but you would think she could have dressed for work instead of looking so disarray. The coffee pot in the room didn't work, their light breakfast was a protein bar or package of peanut butter crackers and their coffee was so watery. However, the bed slept nicely and room was neat... Also, understanding this was an older hotel/building it was kept up acceptable. I guess what made it so unacceptable to us was that we couldn't get a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. That put a bad taste in our mouth for the rest of the stay.

The room I reserved was non-smoking. However, the room stink of cigarettes. The hotel staff would not switch out my room because they said it was a third-party payer. The room stink horribly, and I have no choice but to stay there because I was exhausted.

Hello There, we feel sorry for inconvenience. Guest should inform the hotel about having a pet before get in to the room. Because there are only certain rooms which allows the pets.

The Quality Inn was neat and basically clean but very old in decor and repair. The light above the beds was only half attached, the hair dryer didn’t work and was of the outlets in the room was only half attached as well. We didn’t ask for maid service the first morning but thought we would at least get fresh towels the 2nd day. A very nice maid gave us a hair dryer to use and we had to go to the desk to get towels.
