„Das kleine Ryokan liegt sehr ruhig aber trotzdem mittendrin. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Der Service im Restaurant sehr gut. Den Empfang empfanden wir als sehr unfreundlich, es war während des gesamten Aufenthalts so gut wie keine Verständigung auf Englisch möglich. Das Internet geht gar nicht, darauf angesprochen nur Schulterzucken. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein. Es gibt keine Schrankfächer, nur ein paar Bügel, um Dinge zu verstauen. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhäktnis nicht!“

„Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. “

„If you can afford to splurge, this place is a treasure. Service like I’ve never experienced, and beautiful rooms and a great location. The restaurants are fancy French, also extremely good, but we didn’t dine in. This place is world-class.😊“

„We stayed only 1 day here from a cruise. It was lovely. Spacious and clean room. Walking distance to everything. This was indeed a diamond in the rough. We were a family of 3. My husband and I and our teen daughter. Beds were comfortable.“

„This was our favourite accommodation throughout Japan. The room was huge with a separate toilet and powder room to the bathroom. Japanese PJ's were provided which was a nice touch, also a hair straightener and curler and Nespresso coffee pods. The staff were amazing, so polite and helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was an experience in itself - opt for the Japanese style breakfast- it was delicious. The location was perfect, only a 5 min walk to the Keihan subway line and walking distance ...
