Beautiful 2-Bedroom + Loft with Hot Tub at Lake Ashmere

Welcome to Lake Ashmere!

Our newly and completely renovated cottage features two bedrooms with comfy queen size beds, a loft with two full size beds, cathedral ceilings, year-round six person hot tub and a large working kitchen stocked with everything you need. The living space is bright and airy. WiFi in the cottage is over 500 mbps, making it ideal for longer stays.

Set in a peaceful location, the cottage is just a two minute walk to Lake Ashmere where you can relax, have a picnic, kayak, motor boat, fish and snowmobile. During the winter time, the lake freezes over and makes for a great view. The lake is known as a great ice fishing spot. Centrally located in the Berkshire mountains, the cottage is a short drive to Lee, Lenox, Pittsfield, Great Barrington, Jiminy Peak, Bousquet Ski Mountain, Tanglewood and more. Within just a few minute’s drive you can find hiking on the Appalachian trail, state parks, cross country skiing, and snow tubing. Five-star dining is minutes away!

Lovely Modern Cottage
Three of us had a great stay! The cottage was very clean and very well outfitted. It was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into making sure guests would have everything they need. The space is bright and modern but still cozy, very nicely designed. The lake was a bit more of a walk than I had imagined it would be and there isn’t much of a sitting area by the lakefront but the lake itself is beautiful. Overall, a very nice cottage and lovely stay!

A fantastic property!
Our stay in Hinsdale was wonderful! The house was well stocked for a long weekend with plenty of towels, kitchen items, and storage. Beds were extremely comfortable. We made great use of the fire pit and hot tub. Our only recommendation would be to add a slider door in the shower, as it's very difficult to not get water in the rest of the bathroom. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and humid
The house was lovely, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and kitchen, missing a few items that would have been nice: toaster, drip coffe maker (there is a keurig), but totally adequate for all cooking. The walk to lake is short but the "beach " is more of a boat launch with a picnic table and sits directly across from a summer camp that can be loud. The weather was hot and extremely humid while we were there and no fault of the owners, the space did not circulate air well and it was quite uncomfortable. Upon request, the owners sent over another fan and extension cords, very responsive. We were very pleased with the quick and helpful responses for all questions.

Our stay at this cottage was wonderful. The property was perfect size for us and we enjoyed golfing at Bas Ridge Golf Course, even though the weather was not the greatest that day. The hot tub was such a great amenity and we enjoyed the nice quiet location!

Perfect Getaway
My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet place to escape the city and this place was lovely! It was exactly as pictured. The host was communicative and even provided great local recommendations that we used for breakfast and dinner one day...super helpful! Everything was clean and tidy. There were great products in the bathroom- a really nice touch! We enjoyed our stay and couldn't recommend it more.

Comfortable Stay with freinds
This is a great quaint house in nature, close enough to stores and resturants. Harrison was a spectacular host and he even let us bring AC (ask and you may be able to as well). Also it is a lovely walk to the lake and only takes a few minutes. Can't wait to stay there again

This cabin was a perfect jumping off point for enjoying all the Berkshires has to offer. My children loved sleeping in the loft and relaxing in the hot tub. It was a relaxing space to wind down in after a full day of visiting family and exploring. Harrison is a great host we will be back!

Stunning gem near Lake Ashmere
This beautiful cabin was perfect for a quick retreat with friends. It's tucked away in Massachusetts within walking distance to Lake Ashmere. We were blown away with the attention to details like robes in the bedrooms, adorable laundry baskets in the loft, and decor from the local glass shop. The kitchen and bathroom are beyond stunning!! The hot tub was a great feature to help relax even quicker. We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.
