A very pleasant stay
Shaneka is a wonderful host who is prompt in all communications. The condo is very well located and a minute's walk from the beach. Great restraunts and other points of interest at the island are all a short drive away. All amenities were well thought of and we had a pleasant stay overall. The only hitch we had was the AC, which did not work during our stay. But to the host's credit, maintenence was informed and they came to fix it, albeit unsuccessfully. It happens, but we look forward to returning in the future.

The unit is very nice! The property site is nice as well very safe, clean, and friendly. The unit itself is literally a few steps to the beach. It also had everything we could possibly need for the trip. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I definitely would recommend this unit and owner!

Great resort, good accommodations
The resort is great and communication was fantastic. The place was clean and well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. The unit is close to the action and stocked with beach supplies. Other than the minor issues with dim lighting and temperamental cable and WiFi, we loved this place.

My son and his friends had a great time there. Everything they needed was there and location perfect. Owner was easy to reach and helpful when I had a question. Only remark I would like to make is that two of the beds are rather small. Would book again

Very disappointing
Upon checking in was told that I could not stay at the property with my service dog despite paying the full week because I had not given the property the proper paperwork ahead of time (Vrbo host never explained this prior and per Vrbo policy service animals cannot be refused ) when I explained I will have it sent after the holiday (this was the evening 8 pm before thanksgiving) I was told that was unacceptable and threatened to be removed and escorted from the property by a very rude woman at the front desk. To say this was not a warm welcome is putting it mildly. Then the unit itself was unclean…dishes were dusty, hangers falling apart , etc. had no WiFi or cell service (due to location) unless I was outside on the balcony then the WiFi would go in and out. When brought up to host she basically accused me of lying and saying it showed full bars which it was not at full bars at all. This is about a 10 minute walk to the actual beach that is part of the property not beachfront in actuality . Overall I would look elsewhere . The only positive I can say is that bed was comfortable

We had the absolute best time!! From the close walk to the semi-private beach, super comfortable bed, and the host who thought of everything, we could hardly find a thing to complain about! The Internet was pretty patchy for most of the week, but a quick restart was an easy fix. It was a little smaller than I expected for a place that fits 6 - the bunk beds share the room with the master, but it was just us so it was perfect! We are planning on coming back as soon as we can!!

Beautiful location steps ftom the beach & pools. Very nice condo with everything you need to enjoy your getaway. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, walking the beach and the property has so much to do. Great getaway you will love it.

Bunk bed mattresses need replaced. Queen bed was great. Kitchen lacking enough dish towels. No dishwasher. Silverware lacking. Living room needs another chair. We used a porch chair. Condo very open and good location to the beach. I would rent again if these things were taken care of.

Would not give refund for Hurricane Idalia
Host would not give refund even with the following weather warnings for the area covering 2 days of my 5 day stay from Hurricane Idalia: - Hurricane - Tornado - Flood - Wind / Tropical Storm They simply called it a “regular storm” and moved on. I was not able to stay at the property, but would not deal with this host again, they value income over the livelihood of guests.

Very comfortable and well appointed. Only need to take your suitcase as everything else you need is there - toiletries, beach items, coffee, sweeteners, etc. I was very impressed (and that’s not easy)! Bed is very comfortable too!

For the price compared to the others at the time of booking, we chose to book. The couch and the mattress on the couch are disgusting. Visible dirt and stained mattress completely disgusted us, but for our short trip, we put linens over it and dealt with it. The couch needs replacing, no amount of steam cleaning will get that clean. A few glasses were used in the cupboard so we made sure to pre wash anything we used. No dishwasher so you have to wash by hand, maybe prior guests didn’t care to do so.

Phenomenal stay!
This was our first time ever at Hilton Head & we couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable stay! While the room wasn’t my version of oceanfront (see the ocean from the balcony), it’s in an oceanfront resort that had easy beach access within a short walk from the room. The room fit my family of 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 preteens) perfectly! It was clean & decorated so nicely. All the beds were comfortable, including the pull-out sofa, and it was a nice surprise to find that the bunk beds were bigger in person than what they appear in the pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed & central air could be adjusted for comfort. We loved that there were on-site towels, beach chairs & a wagon to use as it lightened our travel load. The resort itself is huge & had tons of extra activities to offer. My kids loved the pool, esp on live DJ/karaoke night. The beach was beautiful & life guards were on duty most of the day. We saw dolphins & a shark from the shoreline and found 2 starfish, tons of sand dollars & a sting ray while swimming. There’s a shower/hose area, bathrooms & bar/food joint right there at the beach access ramp/poolside area that made life so much easier! The host was friendly & quick to answer all the questions I had before/after booking. Overall, we loved every minute of our stay & can’t thank the host enough for giving us access to such a sweet spot! We will absolutely be back & we highly recommend you check it out! 😊

Great location
The condo and the entire area was fantastic. Very comfortable with lots of amenities, and a great location. You can see the ocean from the balcony, but just barely, if you stretch out. Having the beach chairs & toys was so nice. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed. The property felt very safe and was close to lots of great restaurants. The bunks are in the same room as the main bed, which was fine for us, but just something to consider if you're traveling with multiple people. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for us
The kitchen was well stocked, getting to and from the beach, pool, and Jamica Joes was a breeze, the condo was nice and clean, and everything we might need was provided. We ended up only leaving the resort once! The sliding door to the porch could use a little TLC. It was difficult to open and shut. We truly had a fantastic time and would stay again in a heartbeat. Wouldn’t rent from these owners
We were unable to take our trip to HHI this year due to career change for my wife. I was three days past the refund window and the property owner refused my request for a refund. I offered to provide proof of the career change but they still refused to accept a refund. So we did not stay a single day on the property and the owner kept the full cost of a 9 day rental. I understand there are policies for a reason so use the information above as you will, but we will never rebook and encourage all others to not book with owners like this!

This condo was a great fit for our family of 5 for a quick 3 night stay. Location was great with direct beach access and wonderful amenities like the pool. Everything was as described in the listing. However, it was very hot in the co do the entire stay. The AC thermostat was locked and we couldn’t adjust it. It got up to 85 during the day and stayed around 78-80 at night. Also, when we entered we noticed a very strong tobacco smell. Not smoking, but like chewing tobacco. Other than that, we had a great time.

very convenient location. Gated property with two restaurants. Right next to the extensive biking/walking path that runs all over the island. centrally located. clean unit. Ground level but there are some steps to get up to it. Bed was frim if you like that. No pets, no motorcycles allowed.

We spent a few nights here in August to celebrate my sons birthday. We’ve stayed at this location before but this particular unit was very modern and updated in comparison. The boogie boards, beach chairs and wagon was a nice perk. The only annoyance we had were flies/gnats that seemed to be living in the drain so Cooking was a bit of a struggle worrying about the gnats getting into the food. The owner suggested they were coming in from outside but we’d only notice them right by the sink/ stove. We will return to this unit in the future.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were numerous inconveniences, though. First and foremost, the lock on the balcony door was broken and the door had to be secured with a block of wood! It should absolutely be repaired for the security of guests. The kitchen knives were very dull and need to be sharpened or replaced. The bed was quite comfortable, except that it was so high to climb into (we're short people); steps would have been appreciated. The outlets were few and hard to reach, so power strips would have been useful. A handheld shower (with extra long hose) would have been preferable. We recommend adding a dish rack and drain board to the kitchen, as there is no dishwasher. There were only three or four plates, so we ate on paper plates. There certainly would not have been enough dishes had there been six of us! Fairly quiet for a first floor unit. Loved the fireplace. Also suggest you change some of the photos: get rid of the one wth snacks and add one of the fireplace while it's turned on. Maybe add one that shows a "family bedroom," that is, no wall between the bed and bunkbeds.
