1839 Beachside Tennis is an elegantly decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront Hilton Head Island villa. The panoramic views of the Calibogue Sound and Daufuskie Island from this 4th floor villa are some of the most stunning on the Island. The spacious balcony wraps around the corner of the living room to the Master Bedroom overlooking a green landscaped lawn framed with towering pine trees. Just beyond are the dunes…with winding beach paths through the sea grasses right down to the beach and the sparkling water.
The designer décor has an upscale slightly Polynesian feel in shades of olive green, bronze, and cherry. The furnishings are sophisticated but comfortable: chocolate rattan, dark rubbed wood, rich upholstery, and large colorful oil paintings. You will enter a small tiled foyer area with some oriental-style area rugs. As you move forward towards the living room the clean, modern, fully-equipped kitchen is off to your right, with all-white appliances and cabinets, shiny black countertops, and cheerful red walls. A breakfast bar seats two and opens onto the main living area and balcony beyond.
The dining area, just beyond the kitchen, has a glass-topped table and seats four. The ceiling vaults upward here and is topped with four large skylights. Moving into the living room you are facing floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors topped with windows. The sunshine and the views are breathtaking! There is a queen sleeper sofa, cozy armchair, as well as a large cabinet with a flat-panel TV and DVD. The balcony has several comfortable chairs for lounging, as well as a patio table that seats four for dining alfresco.
Directly to the right of the front entrance area is a tiled hallway that heads to the Master Bedroom and bath. The washer and dryer are here, enclosed behind louvered closet doors. This bedroom has a King bed with a dramatic carved wood headboard and a plush upholstered feel to the bedding. There is a large flat-screen TV and sliding glass doors to the balcony. The master bath and guest bath are identical, both have large vanity areas with good lighting, double sinks, and full tubs and showers.
Back at the front entry head off to the left to get to the guest bedroom and bath. Here you have 2 queen beds and a small flat-screen TV. The Polynesian theme is carried over with ornately carved wooden furniture and olive green raw silk bedding. Sliding glass doors open to a smaller but private balcony.
The Beachside Tennis complex provides a large beachside swimming pool with a sundeck, grilling area, restrooms, and easy access to the beach. Located in the highly desirable South Beach Marina area, this villa rental is just a short walk to the famous Salty Dog Café, shopping, dining, boating, and nightly entertainment.
