„Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed rooms with comfy beds and super quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Dining options in the pub restaurant were vast and the food delicious with a really friendly team. Final bonus - REAL MILK provided in the fridge for proper morning coffee. Cannot recommend enough. „We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat.“

My only issues are that checking out its best to do after 7.00. due to needing to phone to unlock the main doors if you require to leave before 7.00 Checking Inn at a late time can be problematic due to the main Gate connects to someones Mobile and Signal in the area is extremely poor“

„Really nice place to stay for a few days while I was in the area. Pub has good food for dinner & the full English breakfast was great. Only negative was the WiFi. Absolutely no signal in some rooms. If it's important to you, but sure to get in touch with the to be sure you get a room that the WiFi signal makes it to. (you can also find a comfy seat in the common area or over in the Pub to pop online if you need to) Even with the WiFi letdown, I'd stay here again.“
