  • At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. Cabin #4 is a open loft, two bedroom, one bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 10. Included you will find a 1 queen bed in each bedroom, 2 full & 1 twin bed in the loft, couch, tv/dvds, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans linens, towels and everything else you will need for your fun filled summer vacation, along with a fire pit, BBQ grill, hammock and horse shoes. A nice shallow sandy beach and Public dock just steps from the cabin. The Silver Dollar Bar just one block up the street and party store less than a mile away. Cabin is located at 119 Thorpe Ave. Higgins Lake MI. Pontoons, Fishing & Ski Boats, Jet Skis, Paddleboards, Kayaks, ATVs, Scooters, and UTVs available for rent at a discounted price for all renters through GO FAST Rentals that is also one block away.
    PETS OK! (Pet fee is $45 per pet) Campfire wood available for purchase on property.

Five stars for the cleanliness of our Cabin #4 stay, and 5 stars for parking, easy access to firewood, and all travel and boating plans! We would definitely love to rent next year. Easy check-in and check-out too.

Very cute - it was actually better than what we expected! Due to a fire in Canada, our weekend was unfortunately unrailed due to very poor air quality outside. So, we spent the weekend mostly in the cottage. It was perfect for my family. Great quality time with each other while also having enough space to spread out. It was also perfect for our pup. We love the lake and the location!

Only thing was having to take off linens cause I’m sure there was a cleaning fee added. And the well water smell. But everything was great other than that the beach was very close about a 3 minute drive. Cute and cozy cabin very clean.

"We had a great stay at this cottage. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the lake and close to everything we needed. The cottage was very clean, well-maintained, and nicely updated while still feeling cozy and comfortable.One thing we really appreciated was the ample parking. We had trucks with trailers and had no issues with space, which can be hard to find at many cottage rentals.The owner was fantastic to deal with, providing excellent communication before and during our stay and making the whole process easy and stress-free.Overall, a great place to stay, and we would definitely book again."

This cabin was perfect for our 5 day stay at Higgins Lake. We were 2 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. We did not need the loft/extra beds so can’t comment on those. The cabin was clean and reasonably equipped. Beds were comfortable. Check in/out, easy. Note: there is no hair dryer so if you need one, bring it with you.

Enjoyable Getaway

We loved the short walk to see the sunrise each morning and bonfires at night. Peaceful location respectful neighbors with lake access and boat rentals in walking distance.
