Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (45-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 10-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 25-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

You will have access to the entire home, except the garage.

-Private media lounge featuring a Murphy queen bed and an adjacent full bathroom.

When checking out...
* Leave used towels hanging in the bathrooms.
* Used beds should be left unmade.
* Adjust temp settings to 75 degrees.
* Put all trash in bags in can outside.
* Remove any opened food items from the fridge
* If you moved any furniture, inside or outside, put it back.
* Turn off lights, ceiling fans, TV.
* Make sure all doors are locked and key is returned where you got it.
* Make sure fireplace is off and fire at fire pit is extinguished.


* Regular drip coffee pot and a Keurig , ground coffee supplied.
* No smoking on property.
* Supply your own firewood for the firepit, You can arrange with us to have some delivered.
* We supply a propane tank and a spare for the grill
* No parties, this is a quiet family neighborhood
* Fishing in river allowed with proper licenses.

* Host Cancellation Policy: any reservations cancelled will receive an 96% refund, (4% is charged for credit card transactions and isn't refunded from our payment processing company.
