„Our stay in this cabin at James Ranch was fantastic! The cabin was perfect for my wife and I, and everything was just as described in the listing. „It rained most of the time we stayed at the lake, lucky for us the cabin was cute, comfortable and cozy! We never found the shared fire pit, but again the rain kept us indoors in the evenings.Our small dog was welcome, and so we felt right at home. Host left a water bowl, treats, dog towel, and extra waste bags. A really nice touch! A “Shanty Chic” pairing at the shoreline as the canoe has rowing oars instead of paddles. Overall 10/10 would stay again. Thanks! “

„All the high tech gizmos you could want! Maybe too many cameras? Felt like you were being watched the whole time . Not the best location for pets as you are right next to a busy road with no fences ,but we made it work. Really cool listening to the ice on the lake reverberate up and down the whole lake at night! “

„The moment we walked into the cabin, we felt we had gone back 150 years! This is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. It is rustic with all the modern conveniences. The wildlife is amazing! Unfortunately, our dog was not as impressed as we were and she tended to scare off all the critters! Overall, a lovely experience!“

„The property is perfect for a quiet, secluded getaway in the mountains, with terrific views of the lake and surrounding mountains (and a short walk down a hill to the shire). It’s in an absolutely gorgeous setting with lots of wildlife and things to do. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t get back into it for days: fishing, hiking, mountain biking, birding, paddle boating from the cabin. „This is a nice location to stay in the place was extremely clean except for the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the TV didn't work but I don't think it's a place where you care if the TV works or not. Overall it was a pretty good experience except for their heater air conditioner was extremely loud and kept us up all night“

„The cabin was perfect. Everything you could need. Comfortable beds and a nice shower. Beautiful fenced yard with a grass yard behind the cabin over looking the lake. Awesome fishing from the back of the cabin. Next visit we will be staying longer.“

„An amazing home at the end of the street which offered a wonderful view of the river. It had the feel of being all alone in paradise. The layout of the home was great, and the kitchen was well equipped. The home was clean, my only complaint was it had several spider webs by TV and fireplace and I am terrified of spiders.“
